Useful and affordable
Since the newest Macs come only with USB-C ports, adapters like these are essentials. Vava in particular has worked well and has turned out to be a good product in my 2-3 months of use.

It works
I bought a new Apple.Unfortunately they changed ports again so I needed another adapter.This one Is handy, as it's "all in one"The cord could be longer. I need to use the computer on a table and it needs support (i don't like to put strain on the port)So it inhibits how much " laptop " use is possible.I use mainly for USB devices, and this seems to work okay.

Buggy hub
This hub does not properly report for its own power consumption, which causes devices to be starved of power and run unstable, rather than display an error message showing that the power brick is insufficient.For example, this happens when using the Chromecast with Google TV's original power brick on this hub. The Chromecast's power brick was sized exactly to supply power to the Chromecast with Google TV, and no more. Yet the CCwGTV still powers up without displaying an error. On other hubs, when using the original power brick, an error message is displayed on the Chromecast about not having enough power, which is the way it should be. This lets the user know that they must use a bigger power brick to power both the hub and attached devices. Since this hub does not properly report its own power consumption, the device doesn't know that it's short on power, and may run unstable, and the user has no idea that this is the case.
