A powered subwoofer combines the sub, enclosure and amplifier in one unit, making it the simplest way to add bass, especially with a factory stereo. For more output there are 10 and 12 inch options, including the Hertz CBA250, the DS18 SB10A and SB12A slim sealed enclosures, Sound Storm Labs LOPRO, Boss Audio CUBE and the Alpine PWA-S10V. Many can connect to a factory head unit's speaker outputs, so check each listing for inputs. Measure the space under your seat or in the boot before you choose.
