The speaker does fit well in tight spaces. But don't expect earth shaking bass, an 8 can only do so much.

Slim, Lightweight, Poor Bass Response
I bought this to place in a pickup truck with limited space to enhance the sound of the factory unit. This thing will absolutely fit anywhere and that is it's only claim to fame. The bass is not very crisp and actually doesn't improve the sound at all. If anything it made it sound worse. I can turn it way down and it seems to sound better that way. I actually went and spent a little more money and bought a unit made by JL Audio with an 8" sub and amp. It is by far better than this Pioneer unit.
