Soundstream AR1.8000D 8000 Watts Max 1 Ohm Monoblock Audio Amplifier

I usually don’t do reviews on items, but I have to on this one. I never thought an amp so cheap could BEAT SO HARD!! If you can supply it with enough power, it will perform. It pulls a lot of current so I would recommend an extra battery to experience it’s full potential.Like everyone else says, I’m pretty sure it is not an 8,000 watt amp, nor is it a 4,000 watt amp, but for the price it is well worth it. I’m running it at 1 ohm on 2 Audiopipe 2,200 watt 12s and it sounds like it is about to tear my car apart. And that’s with the lights dimming and starving the amp for power. If I had an extra battery there’s no telling what it would do.I would definitely recommend this amp.

This amplifier doesn't do half of it's ratings but I knew that before I purchased. I can say I have it running 2 8" sa8 V3 sundown's and it performs very well. I pulled my audiobahn hct2300 out to put back up and I can honestly say I really can't tell much difference at all, being said that the audiobahn was only running a 2ohm load. This amplifier hasn't gotten hot on me yet and that I love about it. If you're like me and only trust old school equipment I'd really think about trying this one. That's coming from someone that has always used the motto "if it's not zed it's dead". I'm very pleased with this amplifier

This amp does not come up short with power, It produces pounding bass, you can see an amp dyno video on youtube verifying this amp will push 4000 watts at 1ohm. I ordered a second I was so impressed with the first one I purchased, not looking back, no regrets, great buy. SoundStream has been in the game for a long time, for a reason.

I was skeptical because of the price . However I was not disappointed at all. This thing is a monster! First tried it on a set of precision power 12s (was still skeptical of its power ) . Within a couple of seconds both subs had been completely destroyed lol. Stepped up to a pair of ct sounds meso dual 2 ohm 8 inch subs. Wow ! This thing delivers on power big time ! While it didn't destroy the meso 8s ( didn't expect it to since they handle larger amplifiers) it rocked them harder than I have seen them driven by any other amp I have tried. Just a guess based on some expensive amps I have tried,,but I would say at 1ohm with a solid power supply that this amp is close to its rated 4000 watt rms rating ,if not more than that rating .. I'm impressed

Amp came in perfect condition and lite right up exactly what I wanted power pushing three sound stream tarantula 12s amazing sound!!!!

i bought this to power a 18inch re audio sx d2 at first it kicked into protected mode but thats because i was impatient and hadn't upgraded my wires but after a better ground second battery it has what i was looking for and for the price i love it will buy another one in the spring cause ill b getting a second 18

I'm running it to four planet audio ac10d,s at a quarter gain its insane..honestly afraid to unleash it on my sub's. Great price I paid 200 and am smiling happy.

the bass sounds pretty good an is clean an clear and this is my first amp of this brand and it hammers hard I love it! was a good deal shipped fast an good communication .the logo on the amp lights up blue an so does the bass knob switch.

This amp says 8000 watts max...does it do it? No, but after setting amp gain with an oscilloscope it will do 3257 dynamic (music)rms at 1 ohm which at this price point is unheard of!!!! I run a MechMan 240 alternator with 2 Optima Yellow Tops, 0 gauge power & ground. Then you will need 0 gauge to 4 gauge adapters. That is my only complaint, this amp should have came with 0 gauge power & ground. The 8000 weighs about 20lbs & and has a fairly small footprint. Gut shots look really good. It runs very efficiently. Overall fantastic amp. I would recommend it to anyone banging on a budget. A+ Soundstream!!!

This amp so far is definitely worth the money, I have it Pushing 2 Skar 18” Subs.... personally I think it sounds just as good as the Taramps 8K that I had on them till it blew up. So for a good solid amp for the price I definitely recommend the Soumdstream 8000D mono amp.
