Kenwood X802-5 X Series 1600W Class-D 5-Channel Car Amplifier

Great amplifier. I used it to upgrade the basic Tesla sound system. The app stated that amp would not fit my car, but I was able to i stall and wire into my system.

Beautiful amp. You can save by buying a cheaper brand, but this is worth the extra $$$. Sound is super clean. I'm a musician and audio engineer. A good amp makes all the difference. Highly recommend. Love that it accepts RCA or high voltage speaker outputs. In my case the RCAs on my head unit were faulty, so the high voltage inputs saved the day.

This amp is powerful and perfect for the single amp application that it was used for. Put in an early bronco, under passenger seat, no room for another. I love the Kenwood amps and have always had success.

Super impressed by this little amp. It bangs hard. I pulled new 12ga copper when I installed my component speakers and was a little worried as the infinities are 3 ohm to compensate for undersized vehicle wires but this amp handles it no problem. 2 channels are bridged to power the sub and it hits hard. Running the sub in a sealed enclosure and it boooooms,

I installed this in my Jeep with aftermarket Kicker components and 6.5's as well as 10" L7 subwoofer and this amp makes them ROCK. Very good power for such a small package. Does get hot when I'm pushing it's limits, but never had a hiccup. No overheat issue, no throttling, nothing. Just kept kicking. Love it.

Amp is underrated by Kenwood. Its capable of more output without clipping than its specs. It's also stable below its list 2 ohm capability. I have the gains turned down to help protect the 40w RMS Morel CCWR254 2.5's in the dash wired parallel with the Infinity Kappa 62IX in the doors. Rears are Infinity Kappa 93IX and 5th channel is pushing a JL Audio CS110TG-TW3 Sealed 10" sub.. Otherwise, the amp sounds clean and was easy to tune. It runs cooler than expected. I'm using my stock 6 channel amp wiring for power/ground which was rated 1/3 of the Kenwood. This was a good buy.Read full review...

I've had this amp for almost a year now, and I absolutely love it. I watched a YouTube video of this amp being reviewed by a reputable installer, and his testing was accurate; it over performs above the advertised values.

Used this amp to replace my factory Ford Shaker Pro Amplifiers. Small footprint in the trunk allowed me to flip the tire inflator and holder 180 degrees to install it on some expanded PVC.
