VAVA DLP 4K UHD Ultra Short Throw Laser TV Theatre Projector UST Black

Really quite remarkable. From the box to picture on the screen was literally minutes. I had a 4K Roku that I was already using that I plugged into this unit and I already own a automatic screen so it was kinda love at first sight. Also just to mention the package it comes in is so well made and secure that I have already taken it to friends and done movie night on a wall. Between the great sound, brightness and 150” picture from inches away everyone that experiences it is just in awe. As good as it gets.

I was skeptical after trying 4 different projectors. I started with the LG PF1000 ($1200.00), then the Epson LS 100($2900.00) and settled for Optima GT5600($1200). All of the pictures were OK but didn't come close to the quality in terms of brightness and Resolution of the VAVA projector. Also it does it with less distance from the screen which was a must for me. Totally worth the money it probably rivals the Sony $24000.00 unit.It also looks great. I have 2 skylights right above the projector and screen and still get this amazing quality.

I have this setup in a spare, 12'x14' bedroom with good light control (shutters on one window) using a standard 120" screen. I purchased the unit for backyard movie nights, hence the odd screen, but found the experience so amazing that I setup a temporary home theater in this room. Despite having a beautiful 70" plasma TV in the family room, with recliners and a super comfortable couch, the family prefers to come into this small room for the more immersive experience. The picture quality is amazing and even at a 120" and at only 13' between the viewer and the screen, the resolution is impressive. The color, brightness, and sound quality are everything you'd expect from a real theater.So what do I love? First and foremost is the ultra short throw. I would never have been able to set this up in this room without it. The device is inches from the screen and incredibly unobtrusive. The built in audio is an extra plus. As you can see from my photo, all I have is a simple power cord to contend with. By the way, that's a simple breakfast tray table I have the device resting on. It happened to be the perfect size and height and makes it easy to pick the entire thing up and take it to the backyard for those outdoor movies.What could be better? The built in Android Aptoide TV is a total joke and barely works. It's really a shame because the rest of the UI for the device is wonderfully designed and very responsive. The projector is extremely easy to set up and make adjustments to. Is this a deal breaker? Absolutely not. I just slapped an Apple TV 4K on the unit (attached with velcro to the bottom of the tray) and I have every streaming option imaginable in super high quality.So what's my overall judgement? I'd be this again in a heartbeat. As a matter of fact, I'm looking for a nice, retracting ALR screen to ceiling mount in the family room so that I can get everybody back out of this room.

 Just finished installing the projector and CLR screen as part of my remodeling. OMG. I have used many projectors in the past and didn’t expect anything spectacular as my bar is so high.How wrong I was ..... completely taken back with the image QUALITY and a CLR Elite screen. What really knocked me out was I had all the lights on and the image still popped as if I was in a completely dark room. Checkout the video and pictures attached.What a projector!This projector will be with me for a long long time and I’ll be watching ALL my entertainment during Working From Home!

Was in the market for a short throw projector that I can sit close to the wall without any wires and boy was this a winner. Pictures is very nice (on a regular wall for now) and I love how even from angles the picture doesn't become diluted like my previous Ben Q. If you're in the market for a 4K projector, this is a GO!

This is a great Projector. I am using it for a 135' screen and it looks great.

I’ve had this projector for a month. So far, I’m truly amazed at the picture quality. I’ve replaced my TV with this for regular viewing!

I bought a giant Samsung TV at Amazon.com, but my local UPS driver refuses to deliver it to my home for its size and weight. So I searched the internet to find a replacement that will give me a big screen and sharp images. A laser TV projector that has ultra-short throw sounds a perfect solution. This VAVA projector meets my expectations. It is beautiful, about 2x of my old VCR player. Easy to put on table. Easy to set up. The colors are brilliant. It can connect to Ethernet port directly and play YouTube. It also has a USB port that allows me to have a remote mouse connected. It now works like a huge monitor on the wall.There are a few minor issues: 1) the remote control is not so intuitive. It is a plain to enter an URL or any texts. But my mouse solves this problem; 2) the number of apps are limited. I failed to install amazon prime video or prime music apps. I posted a question, a customer suggested to get a Ruko streamer. I did. Many thanks to him/her. A Ruko ultra easily takes care of contents to watch or listen.Here is the setup of my home theater: A Ruko streamer to take care of contents; a mouse to enter texts or maneuver on screen; a Bose audio system to have a surrounding audio (VAVA projector provides optical audio output to my Bose system); finally an Elite Screen Aeon CLR Series to improve my image quality, which is quite expensive.A neat solution, overall.
