FINALLY - A True Mountain Watch
It’s only been a few days. I will update this after the Pfiffner Traverse. Here are some reasons why this is a great watch.BUT FIRST, the packaging on this watch is obscene. A huge plastic container! If you want a Pelican case, then go buy one. Coros are shoving all of these plastic containers into the world for no good reason. It's RIDICULOUS.OK moving on....Battery LifeI need a watch that I can take on backcountry trips of 10, 20, 30 days and not have to worry about frequent charging. Also with this battery life I can spend more time in cold winter ski tours and not be obsessing about the remaining battery.ErgonomicsThe rotating knob is great. So much better than pressing buttons over and over. Zooming into a gps route is a breeze. Navigating menu options is zippy. What a great idea. Touch screens are nice but not with gloves.Winter Use and Mountaineering. You really can operate this watch with winter gloves.Full-Time ElevationThe barometric elevation can be displayed on your watch face WITHOUT initiating an activity. I cannot tell you how basic this is, but nobody does it.FEET PER HOUR!Finally an actual mountaineer apparently got involved and incorporated an ascent rate in feet per hour. Been waiting for this since my beloved Vertech Alpin II - look it up (don't).Customer SupportThe day I got the watch I had 2 issues. I received help within 2 hours both times. Amazing.MiscThe accuracies of heart rate and gps appear to be quite good thus far.So... this might be a great choice for a runner. But the Vertix is, in my opinion, an EXCELLENT choice if you are into mountaineering, long backcountry trips, backcountry skiing etc.

Great watch and company so far
My husband had a Garmin Instinct for the last year but was looking for something a little different. We came across the Ceros Vertix in a YouTube video. We then watched and read what seemed like every review about all of Coros watches before buying this. The GPS seems very accurate to what his Instinct was giving him. It is WAY better than using GPS on his phone through the Strava app. That thing was super inaccurate. He got in in at around 60% battery life and charged it to 100 in less than an hour. The battery life is insane. Instead of charging every six days or so depending on how much GPS he used, he hasn't charged yet after two weeks. He really likes to change the watch faces and seems to change them daily. He is looking forward to new ones. We do hope that Coros will add activity information like totals for weeks, months, and years, not just a daily average. The case the Vertix comes in pretty cool. He is not sure what he is going to do with it yet but he was very excited about receiving it. In the end, if the price could come down $100 or so and have the Vertix ship in a box instead, that would be preferred though. It's cool, but maybe not necessary. All in all, the watch is a beast! It will continue to get better as Coros makes updates. I just hope future updates don't jeopardize that amazing battery life. That, right there, is their biggest selling point I think.

Well worth the money… It works and the battery life is phenomenal
I have had my vertix for over eight months and been very happy with it. Phenomenal battery life, easy syncing between watch an app as well as with Strava. No fancy bells and whistle’s and no bugs like I was constantly getting watches from another brand. Firmware updates are frequent and very quick to upload. I recently ran into a problem with Strava syncing- Coros customer service was great to deal with and directed me towards a solution which was not related to their product. Big fan of the device! Well worth the money

Amazing as Advertised
I ordered this watch because I run long slow ultras, sometimes >40hrs, and also because I appreciate craftsmanship. I've been training with it for a few weeks, and so far it's amazing as advertised! The battery lasts for days - 60 hours in full GPS mode! - and when you do need to recharge it hits 100% again surprisingly quickly. The silicone strap is the most comfortable watch band I have ever worn (I splurged on 2 extra straps, in colors to match my favorite gear, and the screen color can be changed to match the straps!). Best part is, the controls are all very intuitive, so I am actually using all these features I never learned on my other fancy watches. And the titanium body and sapphire glass should mean I will get to enjoy it for years!

Can't be pleased more
This is what all smart watches are SUPPOSED to be: I wear it, then I forget about wearing it. Hassle-free and simple (no need to worry about battery, water damage, cold temperature ... ). Then when I need it, I get plethora amount of training data easily. Have been using it past 4 months for hiking, climbing, backcountry or day-to-day jogging, I can almost use it for any activities. I didn’t regret one single second for choosing VERTIX.Pros:- Insane battery life- Bombproof durability- Super rich training dataCons:- Would be good to automatically pause recording my run when I need to tie my shoes, like my smartphone app lol.

The most powerful GPS watch!
this is the2nd COROS watch I have used and VERTIX took a complete step up. The build quality is amazing. Titanium, sapphire glass and everything you can think in a premium outdoor watch. It seems big at the first glance but comes with surprisingly light weight. For someone with smaller wrist like me, it doesn't seem bad at all. Battery last forever. I had only one charge for the 40+ days since I got this!

A Step Ahead - the VERTIX is the choice for training and outdoor pursuits
After 9 months of training, skiing and climbing in the Himalayas with the VERTIX I've realized that this watch has it all. Massive battery life for GPS of my routes and training, adjustable for all features through the app, solid technical support with consistent firmware updates and the knowledge of all the biometrics I need on a daily and weekly basis.

Really good watch and support staff
Really good watch.Support team is very helpful too in answering questions, unlike other big name brands where support is non-existent. Coros support was very quick in resolving the questions i was having.
