Can I use a regular pen?

No, you have to use the pen included. There is copper in the point that engages the slate. I have tried a regular pen, but it doesn't work.


Does it work with any pencil?

Thank you for the question. No, you will need to use the included pen only.


Can I draw pictures in colour with this tablet?

The pen ink is only in black. When you export the image from the Inkspace app, to Bamboo Paper, you can then edit the image and add colour.
