Easy to operate it. I can handle my D7500 very well with this gimbal. You can lock the 3 arms. The batteries work long time.

People give bad reviews to the full char setup they the rings don’t lock in well and the threading is bad but if you get the handle in the right angle and everything is seated correctly is locks in just fine I can stick from free hand to cage mode in under 5 mins ready To go. I’ll provide video review later but this was my first gimbal I researched it for weeks over the robin and other gimbals and I’m happy with this especially the “magic wand” to move the gimbal without touching it to follow subjects. Took me a day to get used to the balancing but thanks to watching the videos the manufacturer has in YouTube it’s easy and not takes me under 3-5 mins to balance the gimbal. I love the pre attached mounts on the full cage to add a monitor light or audio device, if comes ready to be modified for your needs each mount has 1 cold shoe and 2 different sized threading on each one. Infiniti roll mode is great and fun too!Also the Autofocus kit died on 2nd setup and was replaced fast by manufacturer they reply from China I believe but their service is good and friendly as well! Excellent tool! The best of all worlds. I needed this for my pocket 4k, I have a friend who also has a pocket and uses the ronin s, it's a pain and she's considering switching to the AK4500. At my work they use the Zhiyun and it's not large enough to support the pocket. Plus the feiyutech has a much better touch screen and interface layout. It comes with the follow focus and so many modes I can get extremely professional footage and I'm able to shoot shallow as a single operator and still nail sharp focus every time. It's so quick to use and setup I've used it on weddings and event videography without breaking a sweat. The extra handle means it's easy to transport and it saves my back (unlike my old ronin r) be cause I can always rest. Plus gliding around feet looks really epic at 120fps!

This is by far the best gimbal on the market for the size category . I have tested this gimbal with both my Sony mirrorless cameras and lens sets ups as well as with my RED MONSTRO 8K camera with the Zeen Lens systems and it handled it like a boss . Plus the quick release plate and follow remote make this a must have for your gear cage . Every Product I have gotten from FeiyuTech has been above par highly recommended !

I just recently got my Sony a7 III and it took me a while to find the best gimbal out in the market. Patience is a virtue and Feiyu-Tech released the AK4500 which is the godzilla of gimbals because it's packed with features at its price point. The things that convinced me on getting this model is because of the dual hand grip (sold separately) and the wireless remote which acts as a secondary handle and the follow focus motor. In this photo, I've added an external monitor because why not? So far, this has been one of the best purchases that I've made here. Packaging/box has dents but everything is 100% brand spanking new.If you're looking for the best value for money gimbal out there, THIS IS IT!

I own the AK4500 and love setting it up with the handles. They’re light and perfectly distanced for comfort. I’ve used many other stabilizers on the market, and this by far has been the most comfortable to shoot with.

Great build quality, and the ability to convert a a normal gimbal into a ring is definitely something that other companies should look into doing. That being said, there are 2 things that, in my opinion, should be revised. Because the main grip that controls everything has to come off the ring to replace the batteries, it makes it a pain to have to stop, turn everything off, and then disassemble hat part. Other stabilizers have inconvenient approaches to this as well, but if they found a way to change batteries without disassembling the ring, that would be great. 2nd thing is the grip. It’s rubber but has no texture to it, making it easy to slip down or out of your hands. This should be a simple fix if the company wants to upgrade the hand grips to something textured, much like the Robin-s, for example. What I really liked, besides the option to to convert a standard “stick” gimbal into a ring, is that the ring was compact. I had the ring on a ronin-m, and the one thing that bothered me about it was that the ring was so wide. This ring is narrower, allowing you to maneuver easier in more situations. The 2 issues I had with the ring (really more minor things) plus some more concerning issues with the gimbal itself (ak4500) caused me to return it and go back to the ronin-s. It just feels like a more dependable setup at this point, but credit to Feiyu Tech for major improvements over the ak4000.

We received one of the first units so hopefully the firmware has improved some of the issues we ran into. However, I found some machining problems where no matter how hard we tried, it was very difficult to get screws to align to attach the handle. In the end, we had to rig it.Additionally, the auto-calibration for weight and motor power never worked properly for our Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. We got consistent jitters, and even when setting it manually, we had problems getting smooth footage.The documentation is poor and you'll need to watch several YouTube videos to properly set this thing up. For the amount you pay, I expect more.In the end, it's a very large gimbal, and something that did not work for our Blackmagic Camera well enough to keep it.
