The Aperion Audio Daedalus DS10 is a 250W RMS Class D powered subwoofer built around a 10" high-excursion paper composite cone driver, delivering deep, immersive bass down to 20Hz for both home theater and stereo systems. • 10" High-Excursion Paper Composite Cone Woofer: A lightweight treated paper composite cone with rubber surrounds, high-power voice coils, and powerful magnetic circuits delivers warm, natural bass with speed and control. • Crossover 40–160 Hz & Off/LFE: Adjustable crossover lets you define the frequency split between the subwoofer and main speakers to avoid overlap and muddiness. Set to Off/LFE when using a dedicated LFE output from your AV receiver, allowing the DS10 to receive pre-processed low-frequency signals directly without applying its own crossover.
• Auto & Standby Mode Switch: In Auto mode, the DS10 powers on when it detects a signal and enters standby after 30 minutes of silence (consuming less than 0.5W). Always On mode keeps the unit powered at all times regardless of signal detection.
