Works good I use Hears earplugs with it
Used it for the first time on a trip up to Colebrook NH from Halifax MA with my friend who has the same unit and honestly they worked excellent. Happy I got this so we could communicate it really helps when one needs to make a pit stop or to let your buddy know of road hazards that you see first if in the lead. I do have a hard time pulling it off the clamp to swap it to my half helmet and so far it's ok in the rain. Also worked well with friend who has Sena Stryker helmet.

So good I wish Id got one sooner!
Im hugely impressed with this Sena Spider ST1. It was so easy to connect with my friends Sena 60S it almost seemed like it did it itself. Ive had cheaper Bluetooth intercoms and they have always been a faff to connect and disappointing in performance so much so that Id given up on rider to rider comms and only used for sat nav directions and music. This Sena Spider is in a different league. The comms were so clear so good Im a total convert after only one ride. We were riding for for 4-5 hours with stops. Reconnecting after our lunch stop was remarkably easier. The comms worked even over quite a distance where we had lost sight of each other. It enabled us to more confidently over take we could inform each other of our intention and not have to worry about losing contact. We could warn each other of other drivers and hazards. We could also simply chat about things (I was reminded of Ewan and Charlie Si and Dave (dear Dave RIP). I just thought I should have done this sooner! Also particularly pleasing is that this model is currently discounted by 20% Oh and the battery had hardly gone down at all. After 4-5 hours riding it had only dropped to 87% of the charge remaining.

Impressive mesh comms unit for the price.
I am very impressed by this comms unit. I have used Cardo PackTalkup until recently which I was very happy with and have only changed because my partner uses Sena and she rides with a group who all use Sena so it made sense for me to get Sena as well. Installation was easy once a firmware update had been carried out by Bluetooth from the Sena phone app. The design is well thought out little aeriel pops up to increase the mesh range switching on/off is virtually instant with immediate connection to a phone. Speakers are good (not quite up to the JBLs with the Cardo). Overall comms are crisp & clear the mic is better and clearer than cardo. Volume level is really good (even wearing Loop earplugs) controls are easy to access with gloved hands the electrical connection to the unit is very secure and USB charging socket very accessible. Overall I would rate Sena above Cardo the only question mark is over waterproofing/water ingress which I haven't been able to test yet. Great service from Sportsbikeshop as usual.

Super fast delivery
The Sena unit is exactly what I expected it to be. The delivery service wasnt. Despite cheaping out and taking the free 3-5 days option it arrived next day anyway. Very pleased.

Excellent all in one mesh intercom
I have been using a Sena mesh+ unit with my separate Bluetooth sena headset for a while and the messing around to get it connected was driving me crazy so invested in these units and are up and running with in seconds. Would recommend without hesitation.
