Well Worth the Money
I needed a watch to keep track of a ten year old boy. This one is perfect. It's simple and intuitive to use but not childish and he loves wearing it. . Looks like a nice watch rather than a toy. I'm able to set a boundary and receive notification if he goes outside of the boundary. I am able to quickly look at his location with precise and accurate detail - even provides the street address. I especially like the ability to receive or make calls and messages. There are additional activity trackers and simple games on the watch but no internet access. The watch requires a subscription of Garmin Jr to be used on the adult phone and that costs an additional $100/year but is well worth it. It does require daily charging if highest level of tracking and messaging is enabled. Well worth the money and much preferred over other trackers.

Faultless experience so far
Bought for my daughter about 2 weeks ago and it's been fantastic and has been working faultlessly wherever we have been so far. Text's always delivered and sent straight away. Had no problems with calls either. The location tracking is very good updates quickly and very precise. Very pleased with the purchase and my 7 year old loves to be able to keep in touch.

Awesome watch
My son loves this watch! He loves being able to track his steps and uses it to listen to music. The messaging feature for parents to communicate with the kids is great as well. Only downfall I think is that the battery only lasts a few days before it needs to be charged again. I have a Garmin Fenix 8 and I can go almost 3 weeks without a charge. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

Great way to keep in touch with your child without them having phone access!
This watch works perfectly and is exactly what we were looking for. It allows us to communicate with our son without him needing his own phone. We can also keep track of his location. The watch has a few games on it but it's not that distracting. It's been highly reliable. Love it!

Does what I need it for
Amazing product for what it is meant to be. Make sure to update the firmware to the latest version. I had some issues initially and garmin advised the following: Unpair the watch from the junior app ( app and bluetooth settings of your phone) Pair it back again. The only issue I have sometimes randomly is : when the watch calls me on my phone I get the call I answer but the call hangs up. I never had issues calling the watch or with messages back and forward. For context : I live in Montreal/Canada Battery seems a little bit better after the last firmware update but still I don't get more than 2 days on a charge. It also depends on how often my kid plays with the dinosaurs. :) I wish next gen has the HR sensor and a 7 day battery life ... bring it at least at the level of the vivoactive 6 model.

Really great!
My son got this watch as an upgrade from another branded watch which does similar features this watch is great as allows for calls messaging tracking it's slimmer than previous watches he's had and looks more grown up. The subscription to allow calls and messaging is approx 9/10 per month which isn't too bad for peace of mind. Overall my son is absolutely delighted with this watch.

Great watch!
Easy to set up and use and it looks great! The battery life is good....usually lasts for 2-3 days between charges. It has made staying in contact with my daughter amazing and I love the to do tracker!!! It has motivated my daughter to get her steps in and to earn her stars for rewards! While it is a little on the pricey side the peace of mind knowing my daughter is safe is worth every penny! Highly recommend!

Great for us
Overall we have been extremely satisfied with this watch. Battery will last about two days more or less depending on how much it gets played with. It gets decent service except for in buildings. Garmin finally updated their app so that you have another option for contacts rather than everyone having full access. My daughter loves the music feature when she is hanging out with her friends. It is super simple to add a playlist that is just for her on the Amazon music app. The band is replaceable despite what other reviews say. You just need the little screwdriver or watch tool to release the spring inside the band connection. We love that is waterproof!! Honestly it is the biggest selling feature for us. We also love that the annual subscription is a very manageable amount unlike an apple watch or gizmo. Our only real problem with the watch is the service and the need for the app to communicate. It doesn't work well in buildings so if you need to send a message while you are in the grocery store or ice area forget it unless you step outside. Despite all that it does exactly what we need and that is helping us keep track of our kids so they can have a little independence.
