It has all the bells and whistles... even the ones you didn't think of!
I have the original N4 so I was excited for the 4K upgrade that the N4 Pro S brings. I typically dread installing new hardware since they can often have a complicated setup but I was delighted to find that the instructions were super clear for the N4 Pro S and setup was relatively painless. I appreciate that Vantrue seems to have really took into consideration the user experience there were all of these little details that could be easily overlooked but made the install and usage extremely convenient: - they included small hooks with adhesive for cable management. Normally I'm pretty terrible at cable management for my devices but the N4 Pro S came with these hooks that made it super easy to position the power cable out of the way so that it doesn't block my view or is too much of an eyesore to look at. The instructions even had a recommended setup for keeping the cables out of view. - they included an itermediary sticker that you mount the camera to this way it's easier to reposition if needed and a lot easier to stick to the camera - there is a mount for the camera so that you can slide and disconnect the camera if needed while keeping the mount still adhered to the window - super convenient I like the included rear camera although the main draw for me is the interior and forward facing cameras especially the night vision feature. My car has cameras (front side rear) but no interior cameras so that's another plus for the N4 Pro S. My car's cameras also don't have night vision or audio recording which the N4 Pro S does. And of course my car's cameras are way out of league when it comes to resolution - the N4 Pro S runs leaps and bounds ahead with its 4K everything looks crisp and visible compared to my car's blurry recordings the angle is pretty wide too so it captures the full field of view. All in all a great dash cam easy to use and with the quality that I've come to expect from Vantrue having been a customer for nearly a decade.

Vantrue Nexus N4 Pro S Review After reading the instructions and installing the camera mounts I followed the recommendation to wait 12 hours for the front mount to properly adhere to the windshield. The next day I finished the installation. Finalizing the setup with the companion app was an absolute breeze. While browsing the menus on the camera itself isn't difficult using the mobile app is much easier. The pairing process is ridiculously simple once you connect to the dash cam's Wi-Fi and you will eventually need the app anyway for future firmware updates. The N4 Pro S looks right at home mounted in the center windscreen section of my car. Everything about this camera feels solid and the main camera fits into the magnetic latch mount like a glove. The SD card slot and reset buttons are hidden under the power button flap. Because it pops out it is not immediately clear that this section is removable. I also opted to add the optional polarizing filter which attaches via a screw thread. Its primary objective is to reduce reflection glare off shiny surfaces; you simply rotate the lens filter until the clearest image appears in live view. As a bonus it doubles as a lens protector preventing unwanted misting or potential damage in a collision. The app offers all the expected settings to tailor the system to your exact liking. The main live view offers an overview of all three cameras alongside a GPS logger showing your current route. Ultimately the N4 Pro S does not disappoint and I am incredibly impressed by its quality. The recordings are crystal clear especially from the front camera. The colors are vivid and sharp and the PlatePix technology makes license plates easy to read even when zooming in. Thanks to Sony's IMX STARVIS 2 sensors the image is amazingly clear - even for 30fps footage. License plates remain highly visible at night and the general motion clarity is smooth ghost-free and blur-free.

Versatile Reliable and Outstanding Video Quality
I'm very impressed with the Vantrue N4 Pro S. The front rear and interior cameras provide excellent coverage and the video is sharp and detailed during both daytime and nighttime driving. The HDR performance handles bright headlights and darker areas well while the infrared interior camera produces clear footage in low-light conditions. The camera feels solid and well made and the menus are straightforward to navigate. Wi-Fi makes it convenient to connect to the app and download important recordings without removing the memory card. The built-in GPS is also useful for recording the vehicle's route and speed. Overall this is an excellent dash cam for anyone who wants comprehensive coverage and high-quality recordings. It costs more than a basic camera but the image quality features and three-channel protection make it worth the investment. Highly recommended.

An excellent balance of features.
The Vantrue N4 Pro S is a very nice dash cam - my first. I'm nervous about it failing in event of an accident but the product is definitely very nice. I've installed it and it's functioning perfectly. The quality is as expected with no issues. The phone set-up is a little involved but works well. I have yet to test the intended features but the video recording goes well. I live in a very hot climate 100-115 degrees here and the dash cam does run hot but I have air conditioning. I bought one of their data storage cards and it seems to work just fine. Hopefully the heat while the car is parked doesn't cause problems but I'll update my review if it does. My cigarette lighter plug is always on so I have to unplug the unit while parked to make sure I don't drain the battery wishing it came with a USB plug since those turn off when the car is off. The screen is very compact which doesn't bother me at all but if you are using it it might be challenging. I'm confident in my purchase so far it's very high quality and the instructions are very good in my opinion. Read them carefully. The installation is straight forward but for those who aren't handy you might want someone to help to create a profession installation.

Works in the heat of the Southwest but....
I live in the Southwest of New Mexico. Everything works fine except attaching it to the windshield. The adhesive that is supplied is not rated for the temperatures that the windshield gets up to especially with the sunshade on. I did mention it to customer support and they sent me some replacement adhesive but it was the same as before. I ended up purchasing some 3M VHB 5952 adhesive and that took care of the problem. If you live in the northern parts of the country the supplied adhesive may be fine but where it gets over 100F the 5952 adhesive is needed.

The best camera at night
4k front camera is the best at night better than my last dashcam which did cost me 200 euro's. Back and interior camera is also very good. I wanted to have the best dashcam on the market with a parking mode so I chose this one make sure to buy the parking kit if you want to record accidents while parked. Very satisfied with the product

First impressions very good!
Arrived as indicated. Images clean and detailed by day and by night. So far parking mode doesn't seem to particularly impact my battery as start & stop seems uninterrupted when I use it.
