Black Diamond DIA-R12D4 12" 1200W DVC 4-Ohms Car Subwoofer

Originally had a CT-SOUNDS 10" Ttopo 2ohm DVC run @1ohm ran into my CT-SOUNDS 1000.1D. But as I'm upgrading the front & rear components this year I figured I'd upgrade the subs first. Once these bad boys finish getting broken in I'll be able to finally bring up the gain more than a quarter way. Hehe.

Bought two and built a custom box with 6" port and they pound hard enough to blur your vision and rattle everything in my vehicle. Great subs

I not even running full RMS. Used this to replace a sub in my 300 wat RMS subwoofer, sounds mutch better.

Got this about 1.5 weeks ago and have slowly been breaking it in/underpowering it. I also have it in a sealed box because I have my ported in another car (and I am lazy lol).This thing hits hard. I now have it at full RMS and it really slams. Good clean and deep bass. I ran it pretty hard for at least 30 minutes while driving and it didn't even get warm. Have it hooked up to an older monoblock Powerbass. I love it! Get for the price and not too hard to power.Will update this review if anything changes.

Not bad put 2 in a ported box on 750 watts. Better than expected that’s for sure.

I have 2 dual 4ohm version of these subs wired to 1ohm in a prefab ported box I have them running of an American Bass vfl 2680.1 and they SLAM HARD!!! Very nice budget system!! Im still breaking them in but so far so good

I am running 2 Black Diamond 12-inch subs. The Bass response is superb. Check the unboxing on YouTube at Jay's Auto And more. I'm trying to find a place to turn up the bass with disturbing the peace. ????

I have a Skar SRD-12d4 and needed another 12. I was shopping around when I ran across the DIA-R12d4 and it caught my attention. I started researching it and comparing it to the Skar, and I have to say that spec wise they are almost identical. The only real differences, the Skar has a copper voice coil and the BD has aluminum voice coil and the baskets are slightly different. I’m still in the break in phase but I can’t tell a difference in SQ or how hard they hit and looking at them in the box, if they both had no names on them you would not be able to tell the difference between them. So with that being said I would absolutely recommend them. I gave such a detailed review because I couldn’t find any reviews on them anywhere I looked,so hope this helps if you’re on the fence about buying them.Edit: now that I’ve had it for 2 weeks and it is broken in, I’m even more impressed with the sub! While tuning the sub amp to get the gain set right for max performance. The voice coil on the Skar sub will start making a slight pop noise ,while the Black Diamond sub still sounds clean! Both are D4 subs with identical rms and peak watts but the BD sub is 30$ less, it is a steal at 80$. Wish I would’ve found this sub sooner!

Great price. Sound great. Hit hard. Make sure you follow the recommended port area fairly close because they came alive when I got that ironed out. Don't hesitate.

not sure how i feel with it right now i got it paired with a ds18 650 rms amp idk but i mean it bangs but it looks more fierce than it has been so far
