A great replacement for a 2001 Avalon

An exact replacement was unavailable for my 2001 Avalon's rear speaker. With two very minor modifications to the mount, this fit perfectly. The bass is somewhat subdued because the Avalon does not have an enclosure for the speaker, but it is very close to the factory original sound.

replacement speaker for a toyta Solara

the Toyota speaker is a mounted with eight screws and is larger than 8 but smaller than a ten. You have to make a adapter plate to mount this speaker in that application. After all said and done we found it was missing the sub woofer amp. The OEM speaker is a JBL labeled an 8" on the enclosure.
