Really Cool Camera!

This is a really nifty gadget! It stays extremely stable all the time and has multiple modes and frame rates to pick from. The photo and video quality is nice and crisp with the only downside being the controls take some time to get adjusted to and the speaker quality being pretty muffled but once you figure out all the quirks and extra features this camera has its quite the hidden gem! The touch screen is fairly good, as good as I think it can be for a tiny screen and the battery life so far has been great! Construction quality is also strong with it surviving the few falls it’s taken so far with no visible damage! Overall I think this is a great handheld gimbal camera, it keeps you in focus and does a good job at it too, with ultra smooth video!

Well Made, Easy to Use, Portable, Good Image Quality, Great Stabilization

I really like this camera! First off, it comes nicely packaged and well protected. The camera itself feels well made and doesn't feel cheap. It comes with a nice case that the camera can fit into to help keep it in good condition and well protect the gimbal system. With it in this case, it is easy to fit into a pocket and have no fear of anything breaking. The quality of the video and images is really quite good for such a small pocket camera. What's even more impressive is the image stabilization this has because of the 3-axis gimbal system. It works and it works well for such a small device. The camera is very easy to operate and use. On the camera itself there are very little buttons and a touch screen. The screen is pretty responsive but because of the size of the screen it can be a little more difficult to use - especially if you have bigger fingers. The camera does have built in WiFi and can easily connect to the APP. The APP is very easy to use and navigate and can allow you to adjust settings if you don't want to use the touch screen. You can also download your videos & photos this way, too.The battery life is quite good but of course will vary based on how much you use it. I would also make sure you have WiFi turned off if you are not connecting it to your phone as that too will drain the battery faster. It can be charged via a power bank and can also be used while charging. All things considered, this is a very nice camera and I absolutely will be using it for future videos. The overall image quality is great and the image stabilization is quite good. You get a lot for the money with this camera!

Great portable action cam that fits nicely in your hand.

Got to play with this handheld Gimbal camera. What a treat! If you guys have been wanting a portable action camera with built in Gimbal this one is great! I was already looking at other small action cams including GoPro Hero 10 (I owned the original 1st GoPro) and the insta360. I already had a gimbal for my iPhone, but those get kind of bulky, and I am someone who always needs access to my phone to check apps and messages, and I can’t have my battery drained from filming. I love how the camera fits nice and snug in your palm. The video and photos turned out great. I plan to make this mx go to travel video camera on trips. I guess this is the company’s 2nd version. I never heard of them but I guess they were able to improve a few things. The field of vision of the camera is now 130 degrees up from 120 degrees on the old version which helps you get fuller shots and fun panoramic Cinema style videos. There is higher 12 megapixel count now VS 8.5 MP before and now has 4X digital zoom. The housing is solid probably aluminum, it is said to be magnetic, but I am not sure how that is supposed to be used… There is now also a built-in speaker that aids in menu selection and video playback. The controls are fairly straightforward, the controls and buttons are on the joystick with a small touch screen LCD that allows you to adjust your choice of settings. I found playing with it on your own was probably quicker than reading the manual. It comes with a plastic protective case, and hand strap. The only thing missing is a micro-SD card. Charing is through a USB-C wire that comes with it. There is also a Feiyu app, that allows you to control the camera with your smart phone but I didn’t need it that much. I see there are adapters you can purchase like extension rods, and tripod stands.THE THINGS I LIKED:PortabilitySmooth 3 axis gimbalSaving the batter of my smart phoneWide angle 130-degree lensEasy to use controlsTHE THINGS THST COULD BE BETTER:Should come with a Micro SD cardWish it had a bigger LCD.Wish it was a little waterproofWho knows maybe these will be taken care of version 3!

sleek and smooth!

Comes packaged really nicely in a secure padded box and with a carrying case and lanyard, as well as USB charging cable. The quality seems great and the little screen is very clear. The tracking is super smooth and intuitive. Love that it is nice and compact to take on the go. Charged up pretty quickly and holds up well. I need to get a microSD card (not included) and really start recording videos but so far looks great and crisp image on the screen! You will need to download full instructions via the QR code. Excited to take this on some adventurous trips and capture quality footage.

Impressive handheld tiny video camera

First, I would like to give credits to Feiyu's support team. On my purchase, my camera was DOA. The gimbal gets stuck when powered on and the camera shuts down on it's own. I contacted Feiyu support and shown them a video of what my camera was doing, they offered me both exchange or refund options. I decided to go with exchange option since I really want to use this for my upcoming trip. The requested for a replacement on 10/29 morning and I got the replacement by 10/30... The fastest replacement I have ever received. Here's my user experience after using it for a few days. The build quality on this device is great. Aluminum body all around. Feels very nice when I'm holding it and it doesn't feel slippery. The camera also comes with a hard shell case. It doesn't look much, but I think it gives basic protection to the camera. The Camera is pretty straight forward to use in terms of shooting videos. in the middle of the body, you'll find a joystick for you to move the camera head and a button to record. It also has a tiny screen for preview. The screen is a touch display, so you can change setting by swiping on the tiny display. It took me a few tries to get comfortable using the setup menu with the touch display. The quality of the video is good at 1080p @ 120fps. Slow motion looks smooth and the images looks sharp. The stabilization is great. I tried walking at different speed and the video is smooth without any hiccup. Battery is decent. It's about 75% full out of box, and I didn't really need to charge it while I was playing with it for a few days, granted I wasn't really stressing the battery though. The Feiyu app was OK. It gives all the functionality to control the camera on a mobile device. I really didn't use all that much of the app, I felt the touch display is good enough for now.Overall, with my few days of playing with this camera, I would say this is a good buy. Looking forward to use it for my trip and maybe I'll have more updates.

compact and has so many features that I am still learning

The first impression of Feiyu Pocket2 is that it is compact and comfortable in the hand.In addition to the appearance of the Pocket 2 and the 1st generation, the body has been upgraded to aluminum alloy material, and the front interface has also undergone significant changes. One of the operation keys has become a five-way joystick, and the pan/tilt direction can be switched easily with the joystick.About the camera, it has a 4k video feature, also takes good quality pictures. A sufficiently large aperture can ensure a clearer picture in the night scene. The ultra-wide angle of view of the lens is 130 degrees, which can obtain a wider angle of view, but it will inevitably bring more obvious distortion. My only issue is the battery life, it does not seem to be last longer than 2 hours if I am shooting a video continuously.

Many, many options and features. Great app. A bit of a learning curve. Super compact.

I have both the Pocket 2 and Pocket 2S. I'll start with the differences:- The 2S has a three foot cord between the base and gimbal. Because of this, it also has a "car mode" since the gimbal can be magnetically mounted on your vehicle while the base stays inside the car. Just remember that it's not weatherproof.- The 2S has an HDMI out near the base. The 2 does not have HDMI out.- The 2S has no tripod mount hole on the base. The 2 DOES have a tripod mount hole and a lanyard slot.- The 2S has a magnetic base on the gimbal. Since the Pocket 2 gimbal is not removable, it has no magnet.- Storage: The 2S has a pouch. The 2 has a form-fitting sleeve.- Accessories: The 2S has a magnetic base to mount the gimbal (without the base) to a tripod and a clip for the base. This clip can be attached to the included strap. The 2 has none of those, but does include a lanyard. Both have a USB-C charging cable. The cable spool on the 2S can also be removed. In other words, the main differences are the cable, removable gimbal, one menu option, HDMI port and mounts.Video quality is decent. We're talking a really small sensor - one of the smallest available, but it still does a good job. With this unit being so small (It can hide behind a couple of cigars), there's no room for a big sensor. Plus they've done a lot with the available functions. Formats are MOV or MP4.It will take some time to try all these options and perfect your settings. Video in various resolutions, quality and FPS. Various timelapse modes. Various panoramic modes (but you need to stitch them yourself.) Several gimbal modes. Plus you can go manual and change ISO and exposure compensation. It's all accessible with the touch screen, but you need really good eyes. Everything is teeny and you can't change menu colors. For example, much of the text is white. If you're shooting on the snow menu text impossible to see. I need to point the lens at a dark area to see the text. If you use the app it's easier - especially when doing motion time lapses.Audio quality is typical sports camera. If you want really good audio, use a seperate audio recorder. Hopefully there's an external mic on the horizon. The gimbal will run while being charged, so you can plug this into an outlet or battery pack. A high speed card is required - U3 if you want to shoot 4K. 2K or under a slower card is OK. The camera will warn you if the card is not fast enough when you try to shoot a video. The bad: Defaults are not optimal and I found that sometimes the changes I made were gone on the next powerup. The mic is a pinhole on the face near the bottom. I've covered it with my palm more than once.Photos: There's a screen grab of the video details, a photo comparing the 2 and 2S bases, two panoramic examples, a timelapse video and the sleeve.

This camera is AMAZING!

I was honestly expecting to be let down by this camera. It looks like a well known brand and I expected a cheap knock off. I am so glad I was wrong. The video quality is amazing. Definitely 4K. Very crisp and clear! The gimbal works perfectly and keeps everything steady and locked on to, depending on which mode you choose. The audio quality is really good too! I’ve had GoPros with worse audio and video than this thing. This camera literally fits in the palm of my hand. It’s so small! The only negative I have with this camera is when I downloaded the app, it prompted me to “activate” the camera. I’ve had this issue with gimbals before and I didn’t like that they forced the app on to you. Luckily with this, all the features worked before I got the app. The app itself is good and allows you to control the camera fully, as well as download videos to your phone for easy sharing. All in all, if you want a high quality tiny camera that is extremely stable, this is perfect. I love it!

Nice for traveling

I really like how compact and easy to operate. It really makes capturing your travel or special occasion easier to film. The gimbal really does a good job and by triple pressing the joystick, you can have it flip to selfie mode. The video quality is basically comparable to most decent car dash cams or Mobius camera. It does 4K but limited to 30 FPS.What I don't like is that the micro-SD card slot is spring loaded so if you don't remove it carefully, it will fly out there.I like the case that it comes with it. I read the DJI version requires you to install an app which is a major negative; thankfully, you don't need to deal with any of that with the Feiyu and you can start using it right away.

Nice camera but a little overpriced

This camera is designed to compete with a DJI Osmo2 and it really delivers on that front and while it beats the DJI for price it seems to be of a similar quality, even beating the DJI in low light situations however I just don't think that the color reproduction is quite on par. Considering the price I would recommend it over the DJI but I still think that it is too expensive
