It's the perfect amount of brightness, and offered a lower light setting, which is nice. It also has a yellow and white light. I use it for live camming, so it's nice to have the battery option, and it has a long life. The only thing I haven't used is the mounting option. But I don't think I will have any problem.

This is a high quality piece, well made for the price and the light functionality is great. Very bright, very useful for both indoor and outdoor purposes: camping, parties, photography, scene lighting

I've been experimenting with automotive light painting with this light wand! It's been a lot of fun, and it's very bright is a lot of fun to use. I love that you can change the color temperature. The remote gets the job done but feels very fragile, however. I plan on using this when I have to work on my car, too, it should help me tremendously.

Love the fact that its portable. Great for outside shoots. Pretty bright light.

Finally able to complete my photo effects

This light is a great addition to both my studio setup and the occasional on location photo session. The bar format makes it easy to transport and mount -- there is a standard 1/4 inch mounting point at the base. The bar format also allow for easy hand held operation.I do not find the remote useful since I normally setup the light first before making shots. The light comes with a ok quality nylon case that helps protect it a bit. It is not padded, but nevertheless makes it easier to carry around. The light is too tall to fit inside a backpack so I just latch it on the side when I need to carry it. Otherwise I leave it mounted on a tripod.

This is a great light with many nice features, it even has a carrying case! It not only gets very bright at its highest setting but has an array of ranges of color from bright white to much warmer. It's dead simple to use and makes a lot of difference in taking pictures. The remote has to read the sensor perfectly or it won't work, but when it does it works very well and is quite handy to have on hand. It's also awesome that you can put it on a tripod to give you more options. Very nice light wand!

This wand has six brightness settings and two color settings. Colors are warm and cool white (it's one or the other, not variable) while brightness is low to high is six steps. Color and brightness can be controlled from the remote and the light itself. The instructions say there's a sixth brightness of "super-bright" - I was able to set this with the battery at more than 50%, but under 50% I was not able to set "super-bright." "Super-bright" is not that much brighter than the 5th brightness setting.The base has a 1/4-20 standard tripod thread and a place for a lanyard to attach. It feels solid. The housing is aluminum, the handle textured plastic.I also use this with a good quality extension grip to get some extra distance.The sensor for the remote is in the front of the light in the bottom of the white lens - this is optical so the remote needs to "see" the sensor, so will only work when it's in front of the light.Also included is a padded carrying case, USB charging cable and lanyard. Could it be better? Sure - I'd like the color to be variable and the brightness to ramp. But for the price? It's a fantastic light.

The super bright mode doesn't really function right, it discharged quicker than I expected. The light when on default daylight is bright, does provide decent mobile fill light. I would just invest in the more expensive lights, RGB and daylight battery operated lights with mount.
