La Crosse Wireless Weather Station w/ Heat Index & Dew Point

This is a great little weather station for the price. Gives outdoor temp, indoor temp, humidity (which is important in Florida), lunar phase, time and alarm clock feature. This is our second La Crosse product and we are very happy with it. Helpful hint for humid climates: if the outdoor temp stops working, bring the outdoor station in and let it dry out. Then reset it. To avoid moisture in the outside device, place in a ziplock bag before putting back out.

Got this wireless weather station yesterday and so far I think it is great. Downloaded the manual and set the time and date and other things. It was very easy to figure out. I sat the external sensor beside the indoor unit and gave them a while to normalize and the temp for both was pretty much the same. Any variation I attribute to the outdoor sensor only sending a signal to update the unit at timed intervals and is not continuous. That would take too much battery life out of it. Supposed to get about 2 years or more on a set of batteries. TBD. The display is easy to read and easy to change between the different modes of information.I paid about $15 for this one and I think it is a great value for the money.

Bought this unit so I could monitor temp in my boat (stored outdoors) while I installed new marine carpet in it. Because I was using water-base marine glue, I had to make sure the temp of the installed carpet and glue did not fall below 60 degrees for 24 hours after installation. Really neat to be able to monitor temp anywhere outdoors just by glancing at the unit beside my easy chair. Works well and is easily worth every penny I paid. Kudos to La Crosse and eCop!

Very easy to use and easy to read reports on the weather display. Well worth the money.

It's all Good. I've found the indoor humidity reading in this cold weather invaluable. The only problem I had was my fault: Finding a good place to put the outdoor sensor. I highly recommend....

I bought this weather station to replace an older, more complex station. This item is very small and easy to use. The exterior unit can be easily placed or mounted. This is a great value for the money!

Nice character size, good contrast, has been working reliably for a week now. I don't like that it resets the MIN/MAX registers every day, also don't like that it lacks WWV time sync capability.

A little disappointed, I wanted a unit that could be hung on the wall. This is a counter/desk unit with no provision to be hung on the wall. The advertisment did NOT stipulate this! Otherwise, it is a good unit.

Nice, slim, easy to program. Temperatures are reasonably accurate compared to other thermometers I have.

This unit looked powerful for the price range. However, with the one unit that I purchased, any price would have been too much because it gave incorrect and contradictory data. Even with the exterior and interior unit side by side...for days...the humidity readings never matched and the temperature readings never came closer than over 4 degrees apart. i.e. Interior 72 and exterior 68. One degree apart would be disappointing, but over four and often over five is just too much to even be useful to me : (
