Reolink 5MP Human Car Detection Night Vision Camera Security RLC-510WA

The Reolink 5MP bullet camera work as expected and the people/vehicle detection works great and it doesn't activate motion any annoying motion.

I bought the camera because Reolink's web page has instructions for FTPing camera images to weather underground. Tech support said the instruction was very old and the new firmware will not FTP to weather underground. I gave the camera 5 stars because it is an excellent surveillance camera. Very easy setup and tech support answered emails in 24 hours. The camera has great motion detection and stores directly on my Mac hard drive. Will send email, or push notification. I don't need a surveillance camera is the reason for returning. It's a shame, a simple firmware update could fix the problem.

These are much better than the 410. Quality is nice but more importantly the motion detection is great. I replaced these with the 410s because of unwanted alerts from snow, sun/shade, shadows, rain, bugs etc. no more false alarms. Plus the black is a nice feature I’ve been waiting for.

Overall its a good camera, night vision is iffy some time but other than that it has been pretty reliable so far

Reolink RLC-510A CamerasI installed these cameras one on my front porch and one overlooking the back yard. I got the because the have people and vehicle detection which I have found to work very well. I originally had Reolink RLC-410-5MP Camera in their place but have moved them to my back porch. The detection of people and vehicles that the cameras have is good and other that a bug flying in front of the cameras at night have not had hardly any false alerts. The camera that I have in my back yard is pointed towards a canal and it picks up any boats that happen to come down the canal. My front porch is screened in and the camera will pick up cars going down the road or people in the driveway before they get to the door of the porch. The camaras are working well. I am impressed with the people and vehicles detection.The cameras are relatively easy to setup, running the cat5 cable is probably the hardest part. I setup the camera connected to a POE network switch to power them. I installed a 128Gig SD Card in each camera and also set them to save videos to a NAS (Network Attached File Server) the videos are saved as a MP4 and a JPG picture on the NAS.Overall, I believe Reolink makes a good surveillance camera that works well for both day and night and with the people and vehicles detection these cameras are great.

I own 2 410 camera models and had a tons of false positives.I decided to try this new model only because of the smart detection.I’m glad I did: it work great.You can exclude an area from triggering the alarm and you can decide what type of alarm you want to be informed between person, car or everything.All of the other function are like the previous model, with the exception of added time lapse and auto update the firmware

Very pleased with the camera, it's well built and comes with everything needed to mount both the camera and the solar panel. In partial shade has had no issues staying charged

Well built, software works easily, setup was easy. and I love the time-lapse function , overall great product.

This is the newer model which supports 256 GB micro sd card. Video quality was very clear and audio recording is supported. You can also set up advanced motion detection.

I've had Reolink for about 4 years, and I just got this camera. It has not disappointed, and when I need help with something, Reolink is there.I DO ADVISE others to go with Reolink, which is why my friend isn't going with GW System, who couldn't even give the correct manual for the system he was looking at. Reolink post their manuals right on their web page, and their online support goes the extra mile.
