Easy effective
This was super easy to install. The features of being able to schedule alarms that are customizable is great. I have used another highly rated system that constantly sent alerts with no real ability to limit. Reolink allowed me to control what event would trigger an alert to my phone. The other system (arlo) would rarely set off motion, reolink is super consistent with alerts and backs up the recording once an alert is created.Fantastic clarity.Would and have bought other reolink products.

Check your doorbell transformer voltage (especially if you have two of these)
Like many folks have written here, this camera is solid. I love it.TLDR: if you have intermittent WiFi problems, dropouts (the doorbell's light ring flashing often), and you're able to connect your phone or something to the WiFi where your doorbell is, then check the voltage of you wired-in transformer -- it is likely underpowered (like mine was).I bough two of these, one for the front door and another for a side door. The wired doorbell install I had was a NuTone with two buttons (full chime for the front door, one for the side). The Reolink install guide tells you how to wire for this (connect the common, front and back wires together at the mechanical chime). The manual also says to check that the wired transformer is supplies 16-24V. I didn't do this, and wound up with the two doorbells dropping off/on very often (the light "ring" flashing all the time), one camera would come on, then the other, rarely both. Thinking it was WiFi (I run OpenWRT), I went through all sorts of configurations to try and fix the "problem". Turned out I put my DMM on the unloaded wired-in NuTone transfomer, and read 16V, but under the load of just one doorbell, it dropped to 14V. I removed the wires off the NuTone and connected these to the 24V wall-plug transformer that comes with the doorbells -- worked perfectly and camera connection is stable (even with two doorbells drawing off the same transfomer 24V unloaded drops to ~23.5V or so).Hope this helps some of you with what you might think are WiFi problems or faulty hardware.

Best Home Assistant Doorbell for the Price
Very pleased with this doorbell. Has excellent Home Assistant support and includes local-only operation with their app - not easy to come by these days. The image quality is also excellent, and I know the motion detection works because it pinged me with notifications until I dialed it in. Also provides many installation options. However, the included instructions don't step through all aspects - you need to either disconnect or bypass your old manual chime for this to function properly. Without doing that, the doorbell will randomly restart and/or the chime will randomly ring. It's a simple fix with the included hardware, just do a search online for their support page.I wish the old chime could be used instead of the new one, although the new chime has more customization options - can be relocated, has volume control, and different noises. Would be nice if they were sold separately.Feature request: I wish you could control the chime in Home Assistant, having it beep when doors are opened as an extension of a home alarm. That would make the chime more worthwhile.

Faily easy to install, works with synology surveillance station at the time of writing this review. so far motion detection is not working I am not sure if this is a setup that I have not done correctly or it's not working well.

Ordered the POE model, yet currently simply powered by old doorbell wires..very easy, video quality is excel, and my existing recorder easily connected. Currently supports Home Assistant, Qnap QVR products. Alexa not yet working!

Easy install
As a repeat Reolink customer I knew I was getting a quality product. This doorbell was easy to install and works as expected. The included chime worked well and the ability to change the sound it made when activated was appreciated. The heat of the summer is still to come and I will edit this post if I encounter any issues.
