1. Hook Up the Hand Crank
Hook up the hand crank through the Easy Pitch loop to raise or lower the front pitch bar.Easy Pitch simplifies the process of adjusting your awning’s canopy pitch with one easy step. No additional tools are needed. The mechanism allows you to easily adjust the angular pitch of the awning's front bar for optimal shade coverage.
2. Turn the Hand Crank to Raise or Lower the Front Pitch Bar
The slope of your canopy may need to be adjusted depending on the time of day.For this reason alone, the process should be swift and simple.
3. Repeat the Step on Each of the Easy Pitch Loops
Going up ladders with small hand tools to make these necessary adjustments is potentially hazardous, especially for people with disabilities.The Easy Pitch mechanism allows you to stay on the ground and out of harm’s way.
4. Use a Bubble Level to Ensure the Front Bar is Straight

We love our awning! The price was great compared to a bigger brand I won’t name names, and the installation wasn’t too bad either. We have used this everyday this summer and it is a lifesaver on our back deck. So glad we got this!

Exceptional!
I was kind of nervous spending so much money on an awning without ever seeing it and seeing how it feels, but am glad I did. This awning has given our backyard an amazing face-lift. It took less than an hour to hang with 2 people that know thier way around power tools and studs. It comes with a remote as well as a crank, just in case. Both worked well. We've used this many times and got many compliments on it. Would purchase again if I ever needed one somewhere else. Don't wait, click buy!

Excellent Quality and Value for Money.
Did quite a bit of research. Certainly paid off this time. Customer service was excellent as was shipping communication. Product arrived on time and was in a very sturdy set of packaging.Followed the install video and found bracket placement very straightforward, no issues. Brackets (3) took about an hour to install once studs were located. If there is a key it is to find the studs and to make sure end brackets are within a foot of ends to avoid braces on awning mounting brackets. Otherwise son helped to actually mount the awning which was done in less that 10 minutes. The bracket design aids in easy install.Operation of the awning is smooth and very quiet.This is perhaps on the costlier side as self install awnings go but having seem cheaper products, the quality of materials and ease of installation are exceptional and IMO a good investment since this will get a lot of use. Equally there are so called "top of the line" awnings that are installed by regional contractors. Having seen those as well I truly cannot see that they are better quality. If you view the video and are comfortable with finding studs, a drill and a level, this is an easy install IMO.Will circle back to update after a summer of use.

Awesome quality sturdy and clean looking
I used this the side of my garage. It is well worth the extra money for the high quality frame. It comes out together, all you have to do is lag bolt the mounts in the wall preferably on studs and it’s fully operational.
