I contacted numerous suppliers by email with a set list of questions regarding the iCarsoft VOLL II diagnostic tool for my 2002 Volvo before purchase. Some came back referring to the sales brochure, others did not reply at all. I viewed the VOL II on the Elite Electronics website clicked “Talk on Line” and Mary quickly came on line. I gave Mary the same set of questions which she sent to iCarsoft for clarification and promptly returned the results to me by email. I am very impressed with Mary and Elite Electronics professional culture of “Customer Support, Obtain the correct information (if not known) from the manufacturer, Communicate information clearly to me. I purchased the VOL II Scanner being confident in the knowledge that Elite Electronics and staff will always support the products sold in a very professional manner. My first experiance with these guys has been horrible. Paid express shipping and still havent received my parcel. Its not elites fault its theyre couriers fault. Star track is the courier expected to deliver but theyre hopeless , useless and just completely ignorant towards me. Id love to continue purchasing from here but after this experiance i wont be spending my well earnt money on disappointment

For us there are two integral elements of a retail experience which we weight differently to each other. Those elements being customer service- 65% or more, price- 35% or less. Customer service trumps lowest price everytime, for us it's the primary consideration, we apply more bias to it over price. *Before I go on further I'll settle this price issue, Elite Electronics are very competitively priced against big international online stores, just look, you'll see. *With regard to online shopping there's one other critical aspect for us. It has nil to do with the retail experience & everything to do with the fact that international vendors aren't subject to Australian Consumer Protection Laws. Some international vendors are excellent, some are not, some resellers sell quality products but have substandard customer service etc. *In the case of Elite Electronics we are protected by Australian consumer protection laws which are excellent. I needn't have been concerned about this though because I honestly believe they operate with integrity. *Now I'll start to get into specifics of my experiences with Elite Electronics. I have a YouTube channel and wanted a drone for videography purposes. I selected a drone fitting my budget. I exchanged a series of emails with the staff (this was my first drone & wanted to get the most suitable for me) about the one I chose, their interested emails made me feel supported & valued. After these emails I changed my mind about my drone of choice. I'd found another that better met my needs, in the same price bracket. Thus the to & fro emailing continued. *I had dealings with a number of staff during this process and all were helpful, friendly and great. Later, I again changed my mind about the selected drone. TBH I think I was a total pain in the posterior and they were very helpful and very patient. *I wound up changing my mind about the drone to buy a third time and the great support continued (I did buy this one). *In my experience great service before the transaction usually is backed up by great after-sales service/ support. They're traits, ethics is a habit and I'm pleased to say that EE surpassed all expectations. *Now I'll give my testimony about the EE level & quality of after sales service. Because I am to fly this drone for commercial purposes it has to be registered with CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority). *This meant it had to be weighed and it weighed less than the manual said it did. I contacted EE about this and they did not argue the point, they weighed items themselves and completely agreed with my readings. We agree that it's probably just a manufacturer printing mistake but they acknowledged the discrepancy. *Then I had trouble finding the serial number, needed for registration so I again reached out to EE. They took a couple of days to reply, I'm guessing they asked their suppliers and they in turn asked up the chain. It turns out that this maker doesn't use serial numbers, I got my registration another way from CASA. They assigned me a unique registration number which I have to engrave on the drone. *To summarise EE give outstanding customer support/service, both before and after the point of sale.
