Rockford Fosgate PM282W 8" Wakeboard Tower Speakers White

Mount has 2 screw holes that are 2.5” apart. My tower was pre-drilled to slap these right in. I have to take them down to park in the garage and the quick release works great. These fit with no modifications on my 2013 Malibu with the G3 tower. They don’t interfere with the bimimi or wake racks. My process is to put bimini up, then attach the speakers. They have a sturdy bolt to secure them in place. The mount is solid. They sound fantastic. Mine are fed by the marine RF 2x400 amp which gives them 125w RMS each @ 4ohms.

I mounted these tower speakers on the rear roll bar of my 2016 Honda Pioneer Deluxe. They sound amazing. I have the punch marine 600 amp and it pushes these, two 6x9's and a 12" sub. I love my setup. I keep blowing cheaper subs so I'm going to upgrade my subwoofer to the 12" punch marine.

These came as OEM with my wake boat. These are not "marine grade!" They have co-mingled Chrome, Stainless, and Aluminum. After 2 years on a fresh water lake and covered on a lift and only stuck in the rain twice, these parts have interacted and destroyed each other. The wiring is horrible with aluminum connectors and seriously under-sized terminals for the wattage. Rockford Fosgate has no idea what they are doing with marine applications. I would hate to see what these would look like with salt water exposure. The enclosures along with the mounts and wiring are junk after 2 seasons! The Grills are stainless and still look good. The speakers work again now that I have rewired the enclosures without the terminal connectors.
