Jamo S81CEN Studio 8 Center channel speaker - Black

Articulate Dialogue and Scandinavian Styling: The Ultimate Studio 8 Centre Channel Speaker

The Jamo S 81 CEN is a high-performance 2-way centre channel loudspeaker from the Studio 8 series, engineered to deliver crystal-clear dialogue intelligibility and seamless front soundstage integration within home theater setups. Powered by dual 4-inch aluminized polyfiber woofers and a 1-inch soft dome tweeter nested inside an integrated WaveGuide, this speaker reproduces natural movie vocals and dynamic midrange details with minimal distortion. Encased in a compact, modern MDF cabinet featuring a rear-firing slot bass port and fully magnetic woven linen grilles, the S 81 CEN fits effortlessly onto media consoles or AV furniture without visual clutter.

• WaveGuide Acoustic Technology: Directs high frequencies from the 1-inch soft dome tweeter toward the listening area to maximize speech clarity and produce a wide, dynamic dispersion pattern.
• Dual 4-Inch Polyfiber Woofers: Features lightweight, rigid aluminized polyfiber driver cones to reproduce articulate dialogue, balanced midrange warmth, and tight low-frequency transients.
• Rear-Firing Slot Bass-Reflex Port: Extends lower bass frequencies while maintaining an ultra-compact cabinet height, preventing internal port turbulence and cabinet coloration.
• Fully Magnetic Seamless Linen Grille: Mounts securely without visible peg holes or fastener pins, presenting a clean European aesthetic wrapped in textured tweed linen fabric.
• Compact Scandinavian Cabinetry: Contemporary matte finish accented with handcrafted wood-grain trim around the tweeter faceplate and integrated base feet.
• Gold-Plated Single Binding Posts: Equipped with high-grade terminal connectors compatible with bare wire, spade connectors, or standard 4mm banana plugs.
