slams!!!! got this in the back of a kia rio hatchback. did a very clean install used a good amp kit, good head unit. hit incredibly tight for such a small box. again this may or may depend on your car!! my car is small and well sound deaded. very nice. only issue i had was with the beaty panel. getting all the 8 gauge wires and rcas in there wasnt easy and wound up cutting the back off. i have gain about 70% and set at 63hz with -24db slope on headunit
