Loaded Enclosure

A loaded enclosure pairs a subwoofer with a box built for it, so you can add bass without designing an enclosure yourself. The range includes Hertz Dieci and Mille Pro boxes, Focal Performance bass reflex enclosures, a Kenwood shallow sealed box, and loaded boxes from Philips and Aerpro, including a slim 12 inch model for utes.

Sealed boxes give tight, accurate bass, while ported and bass reflex designs add output. Some options go further with a built-in amplifier: the Boss Audio CUBE8 and CUBE10 and the Alpine PWA-S10V are amplified, so they just need power, ground and a signal. For passive boxes, you'll also need a monoblock amplifier and a wiring kit.
