this sub is a good entry level item
If you got an old car or just on a really tight budget, this sub is a good entry level item. I paired it with the Kicker 43CXA300.1 Amp and the Kicker Eight Gauge Amp install kit and it actually came out really nice, of course there was some tweaking involved but I am satisfied with this sub in my 2003 Honda Accord EX V6.

Blew the speaker while under peak wattage
Really bummed that the speaker blew with less then 600 watts going into it. Had it for two days, was making a video showing how it hit when it blew. Waste of money and now I have a box that only fits kicker speaker and neither my Kenwood or Punch p3d2 fits in it. Had to order new box but happy with new speaker and box. Get the p3d2 if you want mirror shaking bass without fear of blowing your brand new subwoofer that should be able to handle the wattage it's rated at.
