JBL Stage 1210D 1000 Watts 12" Dual 4 Ohm DVC Car Audio Subwoofer Sub

They sound great....price is great...glad I grabbed them.

I recently had a 12" Kicker CompRT sub stolen from my car recently and needed a cheap replacement for the time being. Grabbed this refurbished because I so far have been pretty pleased with JBL and they really did not let me down. This thing sounds way better than it should given thr price. I honestly cant tell the difference in the base response. It's accurate and has a lot of power. The CompRT can probably handle more power because I never was able to max it out but this one is still damn impressive. I should mention I have it attached to an Alpine PDR-v75 which is an awesome 5 channel amp. I also did not bolt the box down to the car and it still sounds amazing. I don't see why you would need anything louder than this, you'll kill your ears in no time. I was actually planning on replacing the sub (was going to grab a Focal Performance sub but honestly, I am happy enough with this sub). Save the money and buy a good set of woofers to match this.

Great, great subwoofer. Had a Kicker CompRT stolen recently and needed a cheap, quick replacement. Grabbed a sealed enclosure and installed this 12" sub (REFURBISHED) and was honestly way more than pleased. Almost blown away really. The kicker was great but to be honest I can barely tell the difference and given the price difference, there should be a HUGE difference in accuracy and power output but this thing is accurate, tight, and powerful. Great for all genres of music too. Brings out the punchy lows in classic rock and the deep, deep bass in rap/hip hop.I should mention I have it connected to an Alpine PDR-V75 which is a fantastic 5 channel amp.Imo, if you're itching over a sub like a CompRT/CompR which are much more pricey but money is tight, absolutely go for this JBL. Use the extra money for some good woofers to pair. I seriously doubt you will be disappointed (I was going to grab a focal P 30F after getting my paycheck but I'm happy enough with this JBL to even bother).

So far they are worth the price. I bought 2 and put in dual sub box 1.5cf each and they bang really hard. I have a jbl gtx500 powering them and they exceeded my expectations. They seem very light for they box but they hit really hard. Only minor complaint is they didn't come with screws like my other subs I have. Cone seems durable and they flex really nice right out of the box. first impressions seem like they really don't need a break in period. I had to turn them up a lot louder than I was expecting to get them to clip to see where the threshold was and was again impressed. Now to get all the stuff to stop vibrating in the car from the subs.
