Awesome sub
Kenwood did an amazing job with this sub. I have a Nissan Frontier with a Kenwood Dmx905s (radio) , Kenwood XR1800P (front door speakers), Kenwood kfc-1796 (rear door speakers) and a Kenwood X802-5 amplifier. This system sounds really Amazing! No regrets and I would not change anything. This sub sounds pretty awesome, The local shops in my area wanted $3500- $3800 for complete system. I purchased everything via Amazon and had Best Buy do the installation for around $1200. This sub does what it should do, and it’s a Great Value too. I don’t usually leave reviews, but if you are interested in a 10” shallow mount sub that simply rocks check out the Kenwood.

Great subs, have two 10s in my F350 powered with Kenwood mono amp. The price is right and the performance is right. I've been buying kenwood products since I was a teenager and was really surprised by the negative reviews by some folks. Will be purchasing another for my wife's expedition soon and pairing up with identical kenwood amp.

I used this for the tumble seat in a '97 Wrangler. Nice low profile speaker. It was a great size for the power it kicks out. My son likes to crank it up to +13/+15. I like it better between +1 and +3 for most music. ( still thumps but not over powering )I have it hooked up to a strong amp and it sounds great.I would recommend it.

Full bass in a small package.
The KFC-XW1000F packs a lot of speaker into a small space. It is extremely well made and reproduces a clean, full bass response.I needed to find speakers that would fit into the cab of my diesel pickup without cramping space, and that would mask the diesel engine noise. The Kenwood worked perfectly, fitting neatly and completely under the rear seat.
