Component
Component speakers separate the tweeter from the woofer, so you can mount the tweeter higher in the door, dash or A-pillar for clearer detail and a more natural stereo image. This range includes 5", 5.25", 6.5" and 6x9" component sets from JBL, Hertz, Infinity, Kenwood, DS18, Focal, JVC, Black Diamond, Pioneer, Rockford Fosgate, Sony and Boss Audio.
Popular choices include the JBL Stage3 607C and Club 602CTP, the Hertz Cento, Mille Pro and Mille Legend ranges, the Kenwood KFC-XH170C Hi Res Series and the DS18 GEN-X G6.5XC. There are 3-way sets like the Hertz MPK163.3 and DS18 DXQ, and low-profile options such as the Hertz CK165F for shallow doors. Most sets include passive crossovers, and many pair well with a 4-channel amplifier.
