Let them break in!
They can be a bit loud in the upper-mids (ice pick) but after 25-30 hours of break-in, they sound freakin’ fantastic. They’re best when paired with a a sub to keep up with the ultra clear highs.

JBL 6.5GTO STADIUM
I replaced two pairs of these in my brand new 2019 Toyota RAV4. The JBL premium speakers that I paid extra for, they were junks compared to these. The details and clarity that I can hear is just amazing. Very easy to installed. I like them so much I gone ahead and change the two 3.5 inches on the dash also with 3.5 inch JBL Club. And also change out the 8 inch in the trunk with another 8 inch JBL Stage. Hooked 8 inch bazooka tube parallel to that. Now I got two ohms sub system on the stock AMP. Very pleased with the sound now.
