Industry first CFRP Woofer Cone

The S-series speakers utilise Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CFRP), which is a very lightweight, but rigid material. The CFRP material is directional, and can also be manipulated during the moulding process to help increase the strength of the areas of the cone that are generally weak. Whereas, on an ordinary oval cone, the edges are naturally more vulnerable than the centre due to the elongated shape. As a result, the S-S65 is rigidity throughout the cone, allowing it to deliver accurate and efficient performance.

Alpine HAMR Surround

Alpine's patented High Amplitude Multi-Roll (HAMR) surround is now found on the S-Series speakers. This technology increases excursion while maintaining linearity and accuracy. The multi-roll design will allow an even unfolding of the surround, which will create an incredibly linearity and colourisation rejection.

Powerful Speaker Motor

The S-Series speakers are undoubtedly powerful, and there's no questioning that. The 6.5" models have a 35mm voice coil, at such a large size, this unbelievable voice coil increases the driving power and control of the motor.
