Does the Bluetooth auto-connect to your phone when you turn the car on?

Only if it has been previously connected. If you've never connected your phone to this radio then no, but a previously connected phone should connect automatically if it was the last device to use the connection and it hasn't been many days.


How visible is the screen during the daytime? How about with sunglasses on?

Excellent visibility during the day, even in full sun with sunglasses on. At night it is best to use the dimmer function because it is on the too bright side.
