These high-output amplifiers are rated at over 1000 watts maximum power, for systems that need serious bass or plenty of headroom. Most are monoblock subwoofer amps, such as the Pioneer GM-D9701 with its bass remote, Boss Audio Phantom, Armor and Riot series models and the SoundStream Tarantula T1.6000DL. There are also a few 2 and 5-channel full-range models, like the Boss Audio PT1600 and SoundStream T5.2500DL.

Big amps need a strong electrical system. Use heavy-gauge wiring and a correctly rated fuse, and consider a second battery or upgraded alternator for the largest models. Match the amp's RMS rating at your subwoofer's final impedance rather than the peak figure, and check each listing for availability, as stock in this range changes.
