QUALITY budget amp!!!!
I ordered the previous model r300x4, but received the r2-300x4 since the previous model was out of stock. I am 100% satisfied with this amp, paired up with some Infinity kappa 6.5 components, this amp actually sounds amazing unlike alot of companies that just try to make an amp that puts out the most watt per $, this amp is a steal. Birth sheet of 451 watts at 2 ohms, great job Rockford Fosgate!!!

This amp lives up to Rockford Fosgates reputation. We have it running JL separates and is very efficient with excellent sound quality, The crossovers and tuning are very versatile. The hardware and connections are very good quality. the amp looks great installed and does not produce excessive heat. Very pleased with the purchase.

Sounds great with lots of control.
Works perfect. I'm using this in my son's altima coupe along with a mono rockford amp, sundown audio 12" classic sub, custom built ported enclosure, 2 pioneer 6x9s, and 2 pioneer 6.5" door speakers.I, of course have this amp connected to the 4 pioneer speakers and it works great. I've got the gain set about half way. What i love about this amp is that it has seperate settings for the front speakers than it does for the rear, so i can put more bass into the rear 6x9s than i have in the front 6.5" door speakers. It sounds really good!Oh..... i bought 2 skar amp install kits (4awg). You definitely need to get an amp install kit.

Extremely well designed Amplifier
Rockford Fosgate has really done an awesome job in the design of these amplifiers. I have this one running a total of 6 speakers. Two 6.5", two 6"x9" and two 3.5" Rockford Fosgate component speakers. So it's running two speakers at a 4 ohm load and four speakers at a 2 ohm load. I have a 50 mile one way commute and after listening for that amount of time (approximately 1.5 hours) the amp isn't even warm to the touch. I design electronics and I must say the thermal dissipation for these class D amps is phenomenal. Very much worth the price for the quality.
