Best stereo upgrade on a budget.
Fits nicely under my passenger seat. The sound is fantastic. Crystal clear with plenty of power for me. I'm using a kenwood head unit and the stock speakers in my 2010 4runner. I would recommend adding a small amp like this before spending a fortune on speakers. I've used good aftermarket speakers with good aftermarket head units in the past and the results are not nearly as good as running the stock speakers on a standalone amp. And most modern factory speakers should hold up well to a small amp like this one. I bought the kicker 125.2 amp for a sub a while back and I was so impressed that I went ahead and got the 250.4 when it was time to work on the door speakers. The RMS ratings are low, but it will fill your car with sound. And it will sound fantastic while doing it.

The factory amp died in my 2000 BMW e39 touring 5-series wagon. I found the wiring diagram online and was able to use this amp with the factory radio and speakers to get sound again. Not too hard to do, I had to cut the factory harness into the old amp, remove it, and wire each item, but the diagram made easy work of that. Took me about 2 hours and i'm back in business, down the road again with sound.
