Power Cable
Power cable carries current from your battery to your amplifier, so choosing the right gauge helps your system run cool and deliver its full output. This category includes Aerpro Maxcor Series power cable in 0 and 4 gauge, in clear and blue, and Stinger power wire in 8, 10 and 12 gauge, all sold by the metre so you can buy the length you need.
As a rough guide, 8 gauge suits smaller amplifiers, 4 gauge suits mid-power systems, and 0 gauge is for high-power or multi-amp setups. Measure the run from the battery to the amp with a little extra, and pair the cable with a correctly rated fuse close to the battery. Matching ring terminals and distribution blocks finish the job neatly.
