ATOTO S8 Pro 10.1" Android Auto & CarPlay

This product is amazing! It's fast, jam packed with features and easy to install. I bought this product during mid 2020 when I had lots of spare time. Installation was straight forward, only hard part was wiring it up which was simple with some crimp connectors. The instructions are detailed with a nice wiring diagram. The android auto feature works smoothly, only problem I had was that it wasn't working but after a quick fix of turning off usb debugging it worked. Screen is fast and responsive. Audio quality is good for my speakers, It sounded better than the original head unit. Overall its a good product, I only wish the product had volume dials.

This was my first go at installing a radio. There are many YouTube videos about installing the radio and they are well worth looking at before you start. If you can take your time and go slowly you can do it. The radio is a bargain compared to other brands and you can save hundreds of dollars if you install it yourself. Customer support at Atoto is excellent, due to time difference you have to wait till next day to get an answer but they are very thorough. They will help you till you get it done.

Absolutely awesome head unit, I've been heavily involved with the car audio industry for over 30 years . In the past you would have to load your vehicle up with amplifiers and subwoofers to get any proper sound quality , because I enjoy listening to ALL types of music ( Techmaster PEB is one ) I'm very critical on a head unit that can provide me with the adjustability to tailor my needs.. This literally does it all without big amplifiers and subwoofers ...yes I've done the 15 inch subs in the 90s ect.., I currently drive a 2004 Toyota 4 runner with upgraded JBL pro series 6x9" in the front doors and matching 6.5" in the rear doors with factory tweeters and no subwoofer, yes NO subwoofer, the S8's audio functions provides an extreme amount audio flexibility and my speakers can easily produce a 35 hz Bass note That fills the cab beautifully...Like the taste of warm chocolate...lol.. I also Dynamated the doors around the speakers so there wasn't any frequency cancelation from the front and the rear of the speaker ( This is important for any car stereo) The Atoto S8 provides more than enough power to these speakers and the clarity and the adjustability to tailor in the frequency you need is astonishing! Most people probably don't know what most of the functions do, but I can assure you it does everything necessary to provide the sound quality in your vehicle.. If you want amplifiers and a dedicated subwoofer it has all the abilities to do that also including the High & Low crossovers & Independent subwoofer crossover. Aside from the audio the S8's interface its extremely smooth and fast its as fast as my Galaxy Nots 10 plus 5g .. I hot spot my phone to the S8 and I can download, upload, Netflix, YouTube, listen to podcast..ect , It will pretty much do everything an android system will provide I have not experienced any lag or hang ups , I live in Arizona and It's been installed for about a year and not had any problems with heat and or vibrations from going off road. I do have the S8 pro in dash generation one ... Atoto now provides a generation 2 and other models.. I really enjoy driving my 4th generation 4runner and the Atoto S8 Is Icing on the cake for sure..

After quite a bit of research, I selected the ATOTO S8 Pro primarily because the Bluetooth on the stock head unit was wildly inconsistent. The ATOTO S8 Pro easily resolved the Bluetooth issue and added lots of fun versatility.I've loaded several apps from the Google Play store including video games that can be played with a Bluetooth control (while parked of course). Also downloaded some video apps like netflix, google tv and pluto tv, though only some support video playback (note: Netflix is not one of them). I recently picked up an OBD2 reader and connected it to an app on the head unit which is fun to watch the digital gages in real-time. The buttons under the screen are also very useful since operating a touch screen while driving is not always easy.My only complaints so far are the aforementioned lack of video support from some apps and a bit of weakness on the AM/FM tuner. My next project will be to try to set up the steering wheel controls which would really set this unit apart. Would recommend!

I have been a Pioneer guy for many years, unfortunately their Android options are scarce and very expensive. I researched and purchased the S8 PRO with high hopes and it did not disappoint. Very fast boot and super smooth operation. The transition from app to app is fast and smooth. Controls for music tonality are vast, from the EQ to the DSP everything sounds great. The QLED display is bright and clear. I have been using the unit for about 3 months with no problems. I also purchased the back up camera, OBD reader and steering wheel controller. Everything integrated seamlessly. If you are looking for a unit with all the features of a great stereo and complete entertainment system this definitely gives a lot of value for the cost.

Love this head unit...I have had it for a couple months now. Works great and has many great features. If you are in the market for an affordable unit with all the bells and whistles, then this is for you. The amp is premium!!! Touch is very responsive, easy to install!!!

I am extremely happy with this purchase. The screen is very responsive and the unit has plenty of customization options to suit my needs. Installation was straight forward and the fit in my Jeep Wrangler is perfect. I definitely recommend the ATOTO S8 Pro for anyone looking for an upgrade to their existing stereo.

One of the best head units I've ever had. I have a amp and 2 12s. The head unit has every adjustment you can think of. All separate adjustments for sub and front and rear.

I've been using the S8 Pro for about a month now and am very pleased with it.It has a very responsive and clear touch screen. The digital sound processor sound is great. It replaced my factory radio in a 2002 Tacoma. I did not replace the speakers and it sounds like an entirely new system. I'm very impressed.I had some issues getting Bluetooth 2 with internet sharing to work and contacted Atoto customer support. They were very helpful and responded quickly. Thank you, Amy!
