Very nice replacement for Altec Lansing XP850
These speakers sound absolutely amazing. These are my new speakers I installed into my Altec Lansing XP850 to replace the old drivers as the magnet fell off 1 of the drivers. As these are mid range speakers you will lose the bass that the Altec Lansing speaker usually puts out but you still retain some bass. But even then my speaker has gotten wayy louder with these drivers installed. Less bass but super loud is a good compromise. You guys made a great speaker keep up the good work.

I these drivers!! I have 2 pair of 6.5 and a pair of the 8 both are loud and clear! Will buy more!
I replaced the drivers in these tower speakers for home theater. Two in each wired at 8 ohms . Super clear and efficient, very much more efficient than the original drivers.

Sound Quality is Mediocre at Best
I used these to replace the 8" cones inside a pair of 15 year old Pile outdoor rock speakers. I wish I would have paid a little more in hindsight, as the bass ranges have a definite reverberation compared to the original speakers. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more. I'm not an audiophile by any stretch and found the sound quality to be sub par.
