LetPot Max 21 Pods Automatic Hydroponics Growing System

Some say the auto watering is not important. I beg to differ. Between that & the app we went on a vacation & my plants didn't suffer at all. I have 12 hydroponic gardens; this is my favorite!

I’m new to hydroponics and thought I would give this unit a try. I have to say this unit was as easy as adding water and putting seeds in the sponges.I downloaded the app and entered in the plant details so it can keep track of the cycles and plants. I use it to monitor water levels, pH, ms readings. I also can take and add progress photos all from my phone.The customer service was super responsive and helpful. Thankfully it was user error that prompted me to reach out. But if a real problem were to arise I know I could rely on their customer service for support.

Update: it’s October 29th and the screen no longer functions, the white lights no longer light, and the six blue leds flicker off and on. Luckily, the pump is still working! So I put it on a metal rack and bought a plant light to put on the shelf above the plant tops. But it looks like this machine was only made to sprout one batch of seedlings and then just die. Really annoying.I’ve had this little garden in my kitchen since the first week of September (just over a month) and it’s doing great! My first batch of seedlings were really leggy and half of them died just using the food that came with the LetPot, so I bought some proper hydroponic gardening fertilizer from FoxFarm (a brand I use on my outdoor plants) and now… SUCCESS! I have been rotating each plant daily as the light output is not consistent across the whole device (you will see which way your plants are leaning). My unit turns itself off and on a few times per hour, which was super annoying (like a slow strobe light) until I figured out how to tilt the lid and the light component so the front touches the front of the unit (like a clam shell). This not only keeps the light pointing away from view, but also gets the lights as close as possible to the plants, which they love. I leave the lights on at the highest setting for 20 hours per day, and also put it next to an open window for extra light and airflow during daylight hours. The unit could really use a built-in fan to keep the bright light and associated heat from scorching the seedlings, but I think I am going to get a clip-on fan and just clip it to the arm that supports the light.The app is ok - you can’t drag and drop plants from one spot to another (which you will be doing a lot of to get even light coverage!) so I only use the app to set the time and make sure the Auto top-off is working properly, and then I use an app called “Gardyn” to track my little plants’ progress, along with my outdoor plants.Overall, this unit is stylish and grows beautiful plants, as long as you tend to them daily and figure out all of the device’s little quirks!
