A specially designed for custom integration of whole-home audio systems, the QS provides 4 zones of audio streaming and 8 channels of high-performance audio amplification in an ultra-slim, 1U-high, rack-mountable enclosure. It is expandable and exceptionally flexible, the QS works with the MusicCast multi-room audio system, which allows it to be linked with home theatre AV receivers, soundbars and Hi-Fi gear in a wide of variety of configurations.

Expands Easily

Multiple QS units can be used simultaneously to expand up to 32 zones with simultaneous playback of linked groups of up to 20 zones each. In addition to this, the QS offers 4 zones pre-outs that enable it to be combined with the XDA-AMP5400RK, a companion multi-room Amp, to provide more speaker coverage for large areas in a household or just more power in general. The pre-outs may also be used to connect powered subwoofer amps or subwoofers.

Audiophile-Grade Amplification

No ordinary amp, the Quad Streamer employs ultra-efficient ICEpower integrated circuits to deliver 8 channels of pristine, musically-dynamic digital amplification at 50W/channel (8ohms) with an outstanding 10Hz to 22kHz frequency response and 106 dB signal-to-noise ratio. It is 4ohm capable at 100W/channel and bridgeable to 200W/channel (8ohms).

Ground loop hum is a common and vexing side effect of connecting a bunch of electronics together. The QS takes care of all that with a brilliantly engineered differential circuit design. Sometimes its what you don't hear that sounds the best.

High-Resolution Audio

Experience every detail of your favourite recordings with the support of the QS high-res audio playback. It produced up to 192 kHz/24-bit and applies the same premium ESS Sabre DACs and PML capacitors used in the flagship AVENTAGE AV receivers.

Custom-Friendly Connectivity and Control

The Quad Streamer is truly made for custom integration, with a detachable AC cable for smart connectivity, dual RJ-45 Ethernet ports, Euroblock-style speaker connectors, and IR, IP and 12 V Trigger out jacks for versatile control.

3 Ways to Handle External Sources

Furthermore to supporting external sources through linking with MusicCast receivers and soundbars, the QS offers an AUX input that can be chosen for playback in any zone and a Cut-in input that will automatically senses an input signal and temporarily overrides the selected sources. This allows you the flexibility to integrate CD changers, media players or even paging systems. Also, Thru-Outs let you set up a bus to additional QS units.

Unique Chime Generator

The chime contact closure inputs will allow you to generate a doorbell chime—for example, an alert for a gate from a standard switch. Chime sound selection and output zones can be configured by using the Web Setup.
