Garadget WiFi Cloud Garage Door Controller Alexa Google IFTTT

This product is has easy walk through instructions. The product works like a dream. I use IFTTT app on Google to control door via Google Assistant (aka Google Home). The no subscription part in order to communicate with Google Home is the best. It works every time. 3 minor woes (not cons or negative, just polite criticism). I still give it 5 stars.1) the colors of the wire sheaths in the pictures on the setup walkthrough do not match the colors on the actual wires on the product. The picture has blue and black, the product in box has red and white.2) More wire needs to be exposed on at least one end for it to reach all the way into the "clamp" on the garage door motor. I had to strip at least 1 inch of additional off. which accidentally led me to cut the wire, therefore, I've lost an inch of length.3)The reflector "sticker" back is very difficult to remove. In fact i never got the back off the sticker. I just left the reflector taped to the door with scotch tape.Read full review...

Got an older Genie garage door opener you remotes quit working a long time ago read about this thought what I got to lose now I have it on my wife's phone and mine this brought me back into the 21st century I especially like the reminders when I leave my garage door open and forget to close it I've done that on many occasions now it's a matter of just hitting the button on the app inflation was just as easy as could be for support sites very good .On some questions I had on my old Genie.The installation was a breeze what can I say if you're thinking about purchasing one buy it

I simply love the design of this product. What I am most impressed is the clever way the device knows if your garage door is open or not. It uses a laser beam which is reflected back from a reflector pad which is placed on the garage door.The device was easy to install. The double sided tape provided to affix the device to the garage door opener is very sticky and solid. I installed this in very cold weather and it is not going anywhere. The steps to set-up an account from iPhone 8 went flawlessly.I am using this on a Marentec m4700 and it works great.At the time I wrote this review there was no companion Apple Watch app for the iPhone app. There were other Apple Watch solutions but I really want an Apple Watch companion app to their iPhone app.

Great product and fairly simple the install. It works be great if they included a printed instruction. I had to read the instruction on my phone while setting it up. I ran into some issue to connect the item to my phone but I found a beta app on their site solved the problem. Overall, the product does what it said. Hooking it up with Ifttt and Google Assistant is absolutely the best part! It would be great if the app could see a log of open and close history.

No issues on my Galaxy S8. Door opens as soon as you hit the button. Works with Alexa. I can't seem to get the location based opening to work but that was never an important feature for me
