The best small calibrated measuring mic
You can use it with iPhone or Android as long as you have the 4 sleeve jack. Or a new phone with headphone adapter. The app needs to be buyed in addition to the mic, slightly more expensive on iOS.

This little unit enhances the microphone capabilities of your phone. I'm not sure what the decibel rating is, but it definitely raises it. You get much less Echo, better targeting, yet it is still an omni microphone, so it picks up from all around. You can plug earphones right into it to be able to monitor while recording, or even use that as a stand for the microphone to point it in an upward Direction sitting on the table between two people. Comes in a little metal case to help keep it from getting beat up. I can throw it in my backpack and carry it around.

Loved it so much I'm buying another
I use an old Galaxy S5 for my recording of videos and audio, I play guitar and sing and this little microphone was able to pick up every sound. Unfortunately it up and vanished somewhere in my house and I've been looking for it for days, I need it so I'm getting another.

Excellent and Cost Effective Measurement Microphone
I use the microphone along with an iPad APP to make pink noise speaker response measurements. It works well for this purpose and the accessory connector makes it very easy to the get the pink noise from the iPad to the amplifier. The microphone comes in a padded metal case, allowing it to be carried or stored without fear of damage. Would highly recommend this low cost little jewel.

not sure of issue
Seemed like a cost-effective way to EQ a room, but I have not been successful in calibration. It could be my device, the mic, or the program. I guess my GT-P5113, but I really have no way of knowing. I'll tuck this away until I can figure it out.
