Perfect for business shirts!
Bought this on sale and I am VERY happy with this iron! Takes a couple of minutes to heat up, then good to go. Makes ironing business shirts a breeze! The only negative, it's thirsty - but refilling takes seconds, so it's not a big deal.

It's blue
Our old Philips model burnt itself out so we had to use a backup iron. My wife was devastated to learn she had to manually adjust the temperature for different materials. A new Philips was ordered post haste and it's blue, her favourite colour. She said it's lighter than the old model but the cord is shorter. What more can I ask for, a happy wife.

Working as expected with no temperature adjustments. Steam/water consumption seems to be high. Very small amount of water spillage when on "steam blast", but no staining of cloths so far. Price has gone up by about 25% since I bought it.

Beginners iron
This is a nice iron however, the fabric sensor feature is overrated. Probably good for ppl who don't iron much and don't appreciate the damage you can do to some fabrics if the iron is too hot.Prefer to be able to set the heat setting, find sometimes it's not really hot enough and need to use the steam button to get best results. Takes a long time to heat up.Auto switches off after only a few minutes of no use... which is both good and bad/annoying.
