Philips HX9112 FlexCare Platinum Sonicare Electric Toothbrush

Bought this to replace an old FlexCare that finally gave out. This updated model has similar settings but with a gorgeous design and better sonic cleaning action.

Great product. I have used Sonicare for years. The new, smaller units are much easier to use.

The Philips Sonicare beeps to let you know when to go to another of the 4 areas: upper, lower, inner, outer. The oblong bristles remove more stuff than the little round bristle some products have. The travel box for the tooth brush is really handy. It was recommended by my periodontist.

Been a Phillips sonicare user for close to 20 years and this flexcare platinum is def the Best sonicare I've ever had !

This Sonicare Flexcare toothbrush has so many great features! I love the programs for cleaning (sometimes you just want to quickly brush your teeth, sometimes you want the whole deep clean), and I love that you can adjust the intensity. There really is a difference in the intensity settings! The pressure sensor is great, too. It's just a little "wobble" that lets you know to take it easy. I have been using a Sonicare toothbrush for over 20 years. The Flexcare really is a step up in cleaning. I have been using it for a week and I can tell my teeth are whiter. They also stay clean-feeling longer. The only criticism I have is that the base is small and could tip easily. I have mine in a cabinet so it's not a problem for me.

I like it a lot. Seems to clean well but a little difficult to get used to the "sonic" vibration. Don't start out at the most intensive cleaning level.

I am pleased with the way the Sonicare cleans and stores easily. I am not pleased with the on switch since it is place in the grip area. This causes the device to turn off while brushing and you have to press it again to re-start.

Toothbrush works great for about 6 months but then the tip which the brush head attaches to seems to become wobbly and the brush head isn’t firm when brushing

I prefer the way the older version turned on and switched modes. Now I have to press two different buttons and when the brush is in my mouth, it's difficult to tell which mode is which. Just a klugy set up.

It seems that the larger head it came with makes it a little more sensitive to pressure on the back teeth other than that it is a wonderful toothbrush.
