Good hair dryer. Love the thermoprotect setting and the moisture lock setting. The diffuser is good too, it left my curls bouncy after hair drying, and I did not experience any frizziness or badly blown hair (may also be because I applied hair oil to damp hair before drying).

This thing is incredible. I've owned a number of decent quality consumer level hairdryers (Remmington, Vidal Sassoon etc), and I'd have to say the HP8280 Moisture Protect absolutely blows them all away (pun intended!). Jokes aside though -I have chemically treated platinum blonde hair, undercut with the top approx jawline length. This means two things when it comes to using a hair dryer - being able to get lift, volume and style is really important, and being able to do that without drying out or breaking my already damaged hair is super important too. This is the only hairdryer I've ever used that does both. Because protecting my bleached hair from further damage is a priority I always keep the Moisture Protect function on, and also only ever use it on the ThermoProtect heat setting. From the very first time I used it it dried my hair in less than half the time it took with my old hairdryer. It gives me lift, volume, amazing stylability every time, all while leaving my hair with a beautiful healthy sheen (no more dull, dry, brittle ends!). I had my doubts as to whether the Moisture Protect function was just another gimmick before I bought it, but wow... it's noticeable and it's awesome. It's also nice to hold while operating and nothing like as loud as my previous hair dryers - so much so that when I first got it my husband came to the bathroom door and said "Hey are you going to use your new hairdryer?.... oh, your hair's already dry? Wonderful hair dryer love the Rose Gold and white coloring. Works like a treat and the cord is long enough but not to long like some other hair dryers.

The most attractive hair dryer I've ever owned!Quite fast and I like the moisture protect, but the hair dryer is heavy and the buttons in the way of your grip.I keep changing the settings accidently.

It works and performs better than the previous model. However, it got heavier. It was already heavy with previous one but heavier. Otherwise, it gives you a healthier hair for sure.
