Precise piece of equipment if a little procey
These scales are consistent for body weight and this is the number 1 reason to by them. Weight yourself 5 times in a row and it's +/- 0.1kg and usually not even that. I had bought 2-3 low to mid range scales for $20-60 and even those that were well rated by reputable sources were crap +/-2kg.As far as body fat I don't know if it's accurate and I don't think a truely accurate body fat scale exists but it is in the ball park for sure. Importantly again it is consistent (+/- 0.5%) which is probably just related to how dehydrated I am. Therefore you can follow a trend if that's what you're into.I do think $150 is expensive for scales but my experience is that this was the threshold required to get something that does what is advertised, it's a hell of a lot better vales that a $60 random number generator that claims to measure body weight.Only had it about a month so can't comment on longevity but seems well built.Highly recommend, particularly if your want consistency in your measurements.Read full review...
