Great GPS tracking watch with Music built in
I had the Garmin VIvosmart 4 originally and decided to upgrade to a GPS watch, that way I can run without bringing my phone.This watch exceeds all my expectations.I can now run without my phone and just rely on my garmin for music and GPS. The GPS tracking seems to take 3 seconds to connect while you are outside, but after that it seems to work seamlessly.The battery life is really good considering it lasts the same as my vivosmart 4 and the vivosmart 4 didn't have such a nice display. I have noticed that GPS usage decreases the battery life (as expected).Overall I think this is a great watch to buy for someone looking for a full smart watch with half fitness tracking.It seems like to me that the garmin pay doesn't really support many banks in Canada last time I checked. So keep that in mind before purchasing.

Good functions; Poor scratch resistance
This is a good smartwatch. I have a Garmin Venu and bought this Garmin Venu SQ for my wife. I love my Venu, but found a major flaw with the SQ; i.e., it is not nearly as scratch resistant. My wife has has this for about 2 weeks and it's already got some permanent scratches on its face.
