Great little record player!
Speaking as a newbie to the world of record players, I think this is an awesome little player. I wanted something small and light that I could set up and put away easily. My only real quibble thus far is that the hinges on the lid seem weak. When I set it up I make sure that there's something propping the lid up so it won't fall too far back. Many of the reviewers complained that the speakers were too quiet. I have external speakers should that be necessary, but so far haven't had a reason to use them. For relaxed listening in a medium-sized room, having the volume less than halfway is completely sufficient. The sound seems crisp and full. All in all, I'm absolutely thrilled with this and can't wait to listen to all of my newly acquired records.

Best (and cutest) Record Player for the Price!
I bought this record player as a gift for my boyfriend. It shipped out and arrived very quickly, came in perfect condition, and plays wonderfully! :) I'm confused by some of the negative reviews, because we have had such a positive experience. The sound quality is great and can be turned up quite loud. The fact that it is portable is awesome, when you close it up, it looks like a small briefcase! It is also a great price! My boyfriend has about ten vinyls and they all play perfectly except it skips on one, Led Zeppelin's Celebration Day, however, it is such an easy fix, because we set a penny on top of the arm/needle area and problem solved!

Awesome !
I bought this as a gift for my sister, and she absolutely love it. The look of this turntable is really nice, and old-fashioned. The sound is great too considering the size of the speakers (it is clear and powerful enough for a small room). And the good thing is, if you want to fill a bigger room, you can connect your turntable to bigger speakers using RCA connection, or just the jack output (you can also connect headphones to it if you want to listen to your vinyl and not disturbing others). This turntable is also really easy to carry. And finally it can play the 3 speed, so you can enjoy all your vinyl ! Really great !

Turntable
This is a nice portable turntable powered by an AC adapter. It is simple to use. While the quality of music it renders isn't rich and full like a good expensive Hi-Fi set would produce, it is very good for what it is. A nice feature is stereo line outputs so you can record off the unit. This way your old vinyl records can be rendered to tape or other more modern format if you have the right equipment to do so. It also has a line input which is convenient, but I see little use for it. Also, if you have those ancient 45RPM records a adapter is there on deck, attached to a built-in holder so if you don't have those old adapters from the 1960s to adapt the large 45 hole to the spindle, you're still good to go.

A record player
I have LP records from the 1960's and 70's. My 15 year old son appreciates older technologies. It's really cool to hear him listening to the songs I listened to, at his age. He seems to enjoy sitting, fairly close by, and listening while he does his homework. The Cruiser does pretty much what a record player is suppose to do. I remember using a similar device when I was a kid. My son likes it and I think it's a great way to visit the past.
