Does this tablet require connection to the cloud?

No, it's an input device like a mouse or trackpad and doesn't require a connection to the cloud any more than a mouse or trackpad does. But you can use Wacom tablets with plain old tablet functionality just fine without a cloud connection.


Can you see the picture on the tablet or does the tablet stay black?

No, you don't see the picture on the tablet. You see the picture on the computer screen.


Are you able to "Color" the graphics, or is it only in black and white? Is there a feature to change the colours of the pen"ink"?

Yes you can. It depends on the app/software you use.
